Pros (+) Hotel's location is right in the middle of town with easy access to all the good hawker food. I believe this is the best hotel, of international class, that Taiping has to offer. The other hotels are basically small town hotels with a much lower standard that I’m used to.
Cons (-) Should have buffets on Sunday nights as well, during holiday season and major public holidays. As it is, was told that they only have buffets on Saturday nights.

Pros (+) Great view of the town, the hills and even the scenic Taiping Lake. Well designed rooms.
Cons (-) As the hotel is very newly opened, there are still teething problems. Our room card keys did not work and took a Long time for the staff to resolve. The hotel could have offered something to make up for the inconvenience rather than just a small slip of paper to apologise. The staff could have been better empowered to make up for shortcomings.
