Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge

Located in Talkeetna, Alaska, with views that can’t be found anywhere else is the Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge. The building looks every bit what a guest would want from an Alaskan mountain lodge. From views of Denali out the window to a 46-foot high fireplace in the lobby made of river rock, the lodge is made up in true Alaskan style.

Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge has 212 rooms. Three of these include mountain-side suites. There are 78 rooms in the main lodge with mountain views and 71 standard views. There are also ADA rooms available if needed. The rooms have coffee makers, irons and boards, shower/tub combinations, flat-screen TVs, work desks, free WiFi, and refrigerators. There is housekeeping service provided ever day.

Guests can choose to eat at the Foraker Dining Room. There are menu items that include fresh-caught Alaskan seafood and game. It offers amazing views too. This restaurant gives guests the choice of somewhere for a fine dining experience. Base Camp Bistro includes a deck area for dining. It serves casual comfort food choices. There’s also Base Camp Lounge for drinks and snacks. One other option is Mount Hunter Coffee Co where guests can enjoy good coffee and grab-and-go food.

Talkeetna Alaskan Lodge has a 24-hour fitness center, two meeting rooms, and offers tour assistance within the hotel. Guests will find bike rentals, hiking trails, kayaking, and rafting nearby. Other attractions that aren’t far away include Talkeetna Historical Society Museum, Aurora Dora, Denali Brewing Company, Talkeetna Riverfront Park, and a free area shuttle is available to help guests get around.
