Very handy location, just off the M54/A5. Nice evening meal and superb breakfast. Owners/managers really lovely and helpful people. Relaxed atmosphere and generally nice staff.
Some of the furniture and furnishings are looking a little tired; eg; walls in the bedroom need repainting; fabric worn to the armchairs in the lounge area; black mould in the grout and sealant around the shower (but to be fair, the shower and bathroom were clean). Our room was at the front of the property, and despite the double glazing there was quite a lot of noise from traffic on a fairly busy road.
Very nice breakfast, room and staff.
I like it very nice and clean
The room was very high and I couldn't get the room temperature right. Also I think the heater was on timer .
Characterful former coaching inn with lovely original features tastefully combined with contemporary decor. Friendly staff. Lots of 5 star touches..... a safe, robes & slippers etc etc. Excellent food.
Pretty much perfect although the heating in the room was rather tricky to control.
Excellent food and service. Extremely friendly owner and staff. All very attentive. Very enjoyable stay. Have been before that is why we re booked to stay again.
