The town is off the beaten track, no hordes of tourists. One can take little day trips for hikes, or go to a nearby Lake for a swim and a meal. Hotel staff were friendly, family-run and the family is very personable.
It was a very pleasant stay.

The location is splendid-right in the heart of the old town, only a few paces from the beautiful main square. The staff were particularly welcoming and we enjoyed a set menu for a carnivale dinner which was very good value. The room was pleasant, clean and had a balcony from which we could see the tips of the snowy mountains in the distance. The furnishings were a bit unimaginative-our only minor disappointment with the room.

The central location.and the beautiul town of Todi.
Despite the fact that this hotel specifies that it has disabled access, and I clearly stated on the booking form that my husband was in a wheelchair, in fact there are five steps down to the reception area. There was a 'lift', but this turned out to be a tiny baggage lift, nowhere near large enough for a wheelchair. The manager could not have been less helpful and indeed was very rude and offhand. The young man on the desk was, by contrast, extremely apologetic and helpful (and later gave us good advice on a restaurant).. We appeared to be the only people staying in the hotel - despite its claiming to be full when we tried to book direct - and the breakfast was extremely minimal.
