The hotel was just what I wanted
Clost to public transport. Lifts to get up and down floors. Air conditioner. Comfy bed
The rooms are SOOO TINY! We (2people) could not even open our suitcases. We had to lay 1 suitcase on the desk. Very small room, made it super uncomfortable. Bathroom had a constant bad smell, I am guessing it is due to poor ventilation and possibly mould (which I saw on door frame and roof). Room had a window however there was a wall/building very right in front of the window , so there was barely any sunlight. Check in staff spoke little English , it was a bit difficult to communicate. One good thing about Akasaka hotel is it is close to public transport, However I would not stay here again. In this last month I have stayed in 8 different hotels across asia and this has to be my least favourite unfortunately.
Perfect location walking distance to everything we needed. Close to railway station , restaurants and convenience store. Very clean with good air conditioning. Gentleman on reception was exceptionally helpful with efficient check in and check out. The complimentary toiletries were a lovely gesture.
