Pros (+) compared to other hotels in main tokyo areas, it's a decent value. All rooms are tiny there, and tend to be expensive. This one was clean and quiet and 10 minutes if you walk fast from Shinjuku station (15 if you walk slow). Don't be deceived as I was by proximity to Shinjuku Gyoenmae station. Most of the places you are going as a tourist are off the Shinjuku station.
Cons (-) Tiny pillow which gave me the worst allergies of my life. Bed can only be entered from one side, so couples may be inconvenienced. Room was not serviced one day so had to go down and get towels. Have to put key in slot for electricity and of course I forgot it there one day.

Pros (+) Room was clean and comfortable. Bed was plenty big (I'm 6'2"). Price couldn't be beat. About a 15 minute walk from Shinjuku station (take exit near new BusTa).
Cons (-) As with most rooms in Japan, it was small. Not even enough floor space to open my suitcase. That was to be expected.
