- Close to Kanda train station - Has the basics you need Given the price it's absolutely okay, but obv. it's not luxurious. A place to sleep
- For multiple days stays, where you have to check in and out daily, you can only leave the luggage in the lobby, where other guests can access them - Bath could be a little bit cleaner, but still ok
Everything was really CLEAN and well organized, the stuff spoke good English, and it is located just few minutes of walking from Tokyo train station - so amazing if you need just to have a sleep and to pick up train in the morning. Very cheap taking into account location. Showers were big and with little pool with hot water - very nice :)
Maybe it is not the best place if you like your privacy, here do not expect it, especially in showers.
Chose Capsulevalue Kanda because of it's location close to the Kanda station. More headroom than I expected. The assigned locker would barely hold my "airline legal" roll aboard. Otherwise there were many bags stored in the "business center" on the first floor. The English skills of the staff was not so great, but I speak Japanese, so no issues for me. The ofuro was not too hot so I could actually enjoy it, unlike some Japanese baths. Ear plugs recommended as you never know who your "capsulemates" are going to be
The light (there is only one) in my unit was intermittently inoperative. I had to keep fussing with the bulb/socket to get it to work again.
The staff were friendly. The place was clean. There is locker for shoes and cloths.
Lack of facilities like cooking place. Require to check in and check out everyday.
Staff were friendly, 24hr reception, traditional Japanese style capsule hotel very few foreigners mostly local workers that stay here some come in late and some leave fairly early in the morning so you unless your a heavy sleeper you will wake up to a bit of noise but everyone is trying their best to respect others in the capsule rooms. Shared japanese bath house so if your not comfortable getting ya gear off infront of others this isnt the place for you.
It is only a skinny building so i get there isnt much room for a larger common area, can get a little busy in there when a few people want to eat food and plug their devices in
