Great location and fabulous staff
It felt like a home away from home, right near Shinjuku!
It was all fantastic
Our group of 5 stayed in the basic 6 bed private room. It had 3 bunk beds (upper bunk bed frame, and the mattress for the bottom was directly on the floor). One of the bottom mattresses from the floor had been removed which was handy, so we had space to store our luggage. Had there been 6 of us the room would’ve been really tight with us and all our luggage. The staff were lovely and check in was quick and easy. I saw some other reviews that said towels cost 100 yen; we received towels for no charge. The shared bathroom area and showers were kept exceptionally clean. The showers were hot and there was shampoo and conditioner provided. Our room was at the opposite end of the hallway from the bathrooms, closer to the elevator. Since the walls are quite thin, it would be quite loud to have the room closest to the bathroom area. The location was convenient, about a 20 minute walk from Shinjuku (we took the Narita Express to/from the airport). The private room was great for our group, not sure what the dorm rooms would be like.
The walls are quite thin and the bunk beds are a bit creaky.
The staff were very friendly and helpful. Everything was very clean.
While there was plenty of cookware, I had to use a camp stove to cook.
It’s was so close to some great restaurants. Lots of Korean food close by. Not too far of a walk to the stations in either directions. Super clean, quiet, and easy to access. Beds are super comfy. Great stay for the price!
