We loved every minute of our stay and will definitely come back.
Location is the best - bang in the centre! The staff is very courteous.
The check-in procedure was a bit cumbersome. It should be made clear to contact the owner before the arrival. I received no such indications. Other guests said they received an email, I didn't. All I received was a text message in very unclear English. I struggled to reach the accommodation, also because the property is not well signalled - it's on the top floor of a very old building, no lifts unless you have the key. I ended up knocking at a very annoyed neighbour's door.
Location, location, location! Centrally located and very easy to get to. The staff was very nice. The room was hot, but there was a fan. We liked the fact that we could not hear the person in the room next to us.
The breakfast was sad. There was a bowl of rotting fruit, the rolls and toast were stale and old. We saw them sitting out when we arrived and sure enough they were served again at breakfast.
Great room, location and the host.
Emanuelle was a charm. She thoughtfully suggested that I take a slow train to Venice and she was right...traveling to Venice via Bassano was incredibly beautiful! She offered to drive. me to the train station which I gratefully accepted, spoke for me at the ticket window and pulled my suitcase to the correct platform. Her location near the cathedral piAzza is excellent because everything radiates from there. Plus you can’t get lost. The front door to the B and B is next to a Subway Fast Food restaurant! On the street of renowned palazzos which have explanations in English as well as Italian.
Four keys were required to finally enter your room, beginning with the front door lock.. The single room that I requested, explaining that I am older and not agile, proved to be a difficult for me climb. I was required to pay an additional fee for a double room on the main level!
