Pros (+) The staff were friendly, the place was clean and the bed was comfy. Accommodations are small but that was great for us, we were only there to sleep and shower. The bathrooms are tiny and need some repairs. Our floor slanted in the bathroom making the toilet slanted as well. We had some good laughs about it though. Pros (+) This is a great option for travelers who intend to spend all day at Acadia national park and don't want to spend that much money on a hotel they are never in. Not a great place for folks who are looking for beautiful views, luxurious accommodations, and lots of amenities. The rooms are modest, but clean, and perfectly fine for sleeping, showering, and storing luggage.
Cons (-) It is a good choice for people looking to cut expenses on their trip. Everything is very basic and no frills. I'd stay there again, but I'd pack my own soap/shampoo bc what they provided wasn't something I'd use at home. There's no fridge. Towels are thin. Cons (-) Cleaning was not up to par. Bathroom - toilet was not wiped down at base and on rim, dust and dirt showing. Cobwebs on walls and in corners; A/C unit had a lot of dust on it.
