Northstar California Resort's rooms come in several different sized. The Luxury Studio is 460 square ft. apartment with a fireplace, King-sized bed, and a modern wet bar. From there, guests can choose from various sized villas, with two and even three bedroom options available. The largest of these is a spacious 1,800 square ft. room complete with a cozy den that is perfect for curling up next to the fireplace and relaxing after a long day skiing.
Speaking of the slopes, most guests spend their days here out on Mount Pluto, the extinct volcano that serves as the centerpiece for all of Northstar California Resort's outdoor activities. There are several different trails for visitors to try here, with plenty of different levels of difficulty from beginner to expert. Just about everyone can take advantage of Tubing at the Overlook, where people can take rubber inner tubes down the mountain. However, the crown jewel is located on top of the mountain itself: Summit Steakhouse, an accurately named steak and seafood restaurant with an unparalleled location.
