Pros:I liked that it was quaint and quiet. The style was Santa Fe. The very large bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Cons:I didn't like that the head of the bed is right next to the bathroom door. Because generally Mexico doesn't have good plumbing, I had to make sure the door to the bathroom was closed at all times because of the smell of urine. The bathroom was very clean, it's just the back up of sewer water.
Pros:We loved the hotel owners, they were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was inexpensive and absolutely delicious. It was pretty quiet (especially compared to Playa del Carmen) and felt very safe. The hammocks were a nice touch too. When we arrived I originally booked 3 nights, but after experiencing it we ended up booking another 4 nights before heading to Playa. If I could go back I would have skipped staying in Playa altogether and just stayed at Lo Nuestro and made Playa a day trip. The owners made wonderful recommendations of places to visit, day trips to take, transportation tips, etc. It was really great!
Cons:My only negatives were I felt the shower pressure was very low and the internet was patchy. Otherwise, a wonderful place to stay!
