The location of the cottages is superb, overlooking the Beagle Channel. The beach is less than 10 minutes walking time. Not that everyone wants to go swimming 1200 km from the Antarctic coast, but I could not resist, particularly since you are basically in the Atlantic and Pacific Oceans all at once. The hosts are extremely friendly and helpful. The cottages are very spacious and equipped with everything you need. The flowers in the garden left us breathless.
Patagonia is known for strong winds, and they sure whistle through every crack. The road in front is gravel and the winds can throw clouds of dust at you. You need to look at all of this in context. I tell everyone that you are very far from what most people consider "civilization", beyond the Pampa, literally. There is a backpacking and pioneer spirit in a place like this. If you expect 5-star luxury, grab deeply into your pocket or go to Thailand instead.
The area and the view was absolutely stunning. Much space to feel absolutely free. A big supermarket can be reached by 15min walk (3min by car). The bed was pretty comfortable. The easy way of communication with Gustavo was excellent.
Due to the remote area it's quite a bit uncomfortable without a car. The dishes were a little rare. And the temperature of the shower could have been a little hoter.
Everything! Betty the owner is the best Such a beautiful and amazing place! We loved everything :))))
