It was a good hostel. Good place to stay for a night. I think there was only 3 of us there and the whole place was a lot smaller then I expected. They building is obviously old, but everything was kept clean. Quiet for the most part. Breakfast was a little fruit, one pancake, one egg, and either tea/coffee. There was drinking water. Good location!
People are very kind, location is perfect, close to ado station, close to the center and most important - 3 min from Zaci cenote!!! There are no bunk beds, but proper, comfy beds, big lockers, AC, fans, multiple toilets and showers. Breakfast is proper, with eggs or pancakes, coffee and tea :) and then there is the common area which is just amazing. You’ll for sure meet people there! If you wanna be alone, there is also place for that. They have sometimes live music and all sing and dance! Like a private party. You can rent bikes at the hostel. And if you don’t have exact plans what to do - not a problem, William, the owner, will help you with everything. He knows the whole area really good and always has good advices. It is one of the best places I’ve been so far.
That I had leave ;)
Super close to centre, you can walk everywhere ! There are bikes to rent for 90 pesos for a whole day or 15 pesos per hour. These hostel had the nicest atmosphere, the people where great, you could meet up outside at the kitchen, we had a few very good nights with all the other guests ! The personnel was so nice and always very helpful. Breakfast was fine, every day there was either omelette or something different and a few pieces of fruit - buy a bit more at the local fruit market to be fully filled up in the morning ! You will definitely enjoy your stay here if you like staying in hostels !
The room was really cold in the night and the shower took forever because the water pressure is a mess and it takes ages for the water to turn warm. The breakfast took quite long and we had to wait some time, what was a bit annoying when we wanted to leave for Chichen itza on time. But otherweise it was just an amazing stay and we loved it !!!
The manager was very nice and welcoming. Not too far a walk to town. One of the cheapest places to stay in Valladolid.
The hostel is a bit run down. The kitchen is outside, not well equipped and dirty. The lockers are not secure. The breakfasts were delayed in the morning and only go for 1 hr. Day old pancake mixture is used and mixing container not washed in between. The showers for males were outside and the gurls toilets inside. Not clean.
5 minutes away from the Zaci cenote and the city center. Nice kitchen aera, garden and pool. The owner is really nice and can give you all the advices about Vallodolid and what to do around. Bike for rent in the hostel.
The 4 beds dorm I stayed in was too small. No space between the beds and to put our bags. The floor was dusty. No lockers inside, neither on the door ! Which is really annoying because the room opens directly on the main aera of the hostel, where all the people gather. Only 2 showers for the whole hostel. Most of the staff people only speak spanish.
