Lobby hotter than hell Need liquor license
Location to the Zocalo was excellent (save the very dangerous crossing before the government building where buses came around the corner at breakneck speed without a turn signal). The square offered many restaurants and musical groups. The staff of the hotel were great. The tours offered in the lobby were great.
No fridge in the room! A must in Mexico. Just a little one, nothing fancy would have been nice.
Staff were helpful. Place was clean. Plenty of hot water. Good breakfast.
Overall the hotel was nice. It would have been better if a bottle of water was provided for each guest, there was only one small bottle for three guests.
This was a beautiful property 2 blocks from the main square in town. Pool was great and was surprised to find a small gym. Staff was very helpful and restaurant was very handy for breakfast. Off street parking was available.
Water pressure was low and water was hard to get to the right temperature.
Good location in downrown
Linens are old The restaurant service and food are not good Not value for money
Conveniently located in the heart of the Historic Center of the Port of Veracruz, it is located Holiday Inn Veracruz Centro Historico. The building that allows the hotel was the first convent of America built in the sixteenth century by Franciscan Monks; in its walls and details, you can breathe the trace and magic of the past with great warmth. From this same place, you can travel and experience the history of Veracruz through its historic buildings, monuments, traditions and culture. During your leisure time, go through The Malecon of the Port, visit Museo Naval or Museo de la Ciudad, enjoy the City’s Main Square and visit the famous coffee shop Gran Café de la Parroquia. Explore the Veracruz Aquarium the biggest of Latin America and go shopping to the Craft Market, and the obligatory visit to Fortress San Juan de Ulua, one of the oldest in the American Continent, which served as Port, Fortress and prison, it is also one of the City Symbol. Admire our building’s architecture while swimming in the outdoor pool at our central patio. Go for a workout at the Fitness Center and keep up with work from the Business Center with complimentary Internet access. Enjoy a full breakfast with Veracruz flavor and tasting local dishes in our Restaurant Coffee Shop San Francisco.
