The wonderful location right on the sea and the hotel's design which resembled being on a ship - combined with friendly and efficient staff.

The hotel was beautiful with breathtaking views, the staff was friendly and very accommodating. We would definitely return and stay for a couple of weeks.

Location on the rocky coast for access to Pompeii. Smallness of hotel and personal attention from restaurant staff who were excellent. Wood and stone surroundings perfect with environment - great breakfasts! Room terraces great!
One big discomfort - the beds were too hard and we could not sleep well - woke up with aches every morning. Hairdryer was not good enough to deal with two persons blowdry as it kept turning off. Pool temp (20c) too cold, jacuzzi not sufficient for all guests to cool down in the hot sun - would suggest pool kept at 25 -26c or at sea temp. On weekend only one pool attendant despite the club members presence - service therefore very slow and unattentive - we had to seek out personnel to get a drink! Also this made for residents area being too cramped. We never saw nor heard from management in the five days we were there which was not acceptable - other than the restaurant manager, no other interest in us a guests was initiated.
