Beautiful living room with cozy couches and a fireplace!
The rooms are inviting and clean
Comfortable room, big bathroom. Very nice common area with lots of games. 30 minute walk to downtown.
Would have been nice to have the host around in the morning to answer questions about the area.
Very quiet and the rooms were spotless. Lovely to have Craigdarroch Castle right behind with such beautiful grounds. The staff responsible for signing guests in were friendly and informative although I never did get a response to my email regarding the breakfasts.
Breakfast was terrible. Every morning we went down well before breakfast was done and they had run out of something essential. The first morning it was eggs, then it was bread for toast, and the last morning there was no fruit and were told they were out because the guests on the weekend had eaten it all. Nothing was replenished without having to ask although numerous guests were still coming down for breakfast. Processed cheese slices, tomatoes and cucumbers were the only thing left every morning. Definitely nothing that looked like the pictures on the website. We have stayed at numerous bed and breakfasts in our travels and this is the worst breakfast we have ever had.
