Pros: The family owned property is very well kept and all stuff is very friendly and service minded. We appreciated especially Marion's help at the reception who gave us excellent advice for restaurants and sightseeing. The small garden with pool is very relaxing after a day's sightseeing and the breakfast was delicious and has a very nice setting in the garden. The location of the hotel is very good, just walking distance to the shopping area and bars and restaurants. Even parking around the hotel was easy to find and safe. We will definitely be back.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel very clean and comfortable. Bed was great. Location convenient close to main train station and on tram line. Staff very friendly and helpful, especially Michaels, David, and breakfast chef (who helped with our bags on morning of Sept. 9.
Cons: Elevator doesn’t work at night and needs to wait until after 8AM for someone to arrive to turn it on! We were told this was true throughout France.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, VERY close to train station, and an easy straight walk to the promenade and beach. Beds were very comfy, staff were very lovely and the FREE access to drinks (water bottles, soft drinks and coffee machine) was awesome!
Cons: -
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff fantastic Great linens Wonderful duvet Loved free water, soda, coffee, tea in breakfast room 24 hours
Cons: Nothing
6.5 Good
Pros: Convenient location
Cons: Key disadvantage: no refrigerator. Small spaces, non-functional bathroom, Bad air condition, old and cramped elevator.
7.1 Good
Pros: Very close to the sea (approx. 15 minutes walk or two stations only), as a highlight we got a nice balcony next to the street and could enjoy some fresh air every night - great! Altogether clean rooms and quiet stay.
Cons: Due to the extremely positive feedbacks we expected something special, in our case the balcony was definitely a great surprise. Without that you get a normal 4* room without special comfort, cupboard or minibar (in our case). One negative aspect is certainly the breakfast room which is VERY small and narrow, luckily we had not booked any breakfast before.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Large comfortable superior room with lot of natural light. Christo at the reception was very helpful .
Cons: There were no tea making facility in the room. Would be nice to have an electric kettle.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good aircondition Very friendly staff Central location I got a balcony
Cons: It was not sound proof The bathroom was impractical, one had to go in behind the toilet to close the door so that you could access the shower behind the door.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great reception concierge staff, especially Mihaela.
Cons: Notorious area for pick-pocketers - which we experienced.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Front desk and chef for breakfast exceptionally friendly
Cons: Elevator out of sorts
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent. Close to the tram so you could easily get where you want to go.
Cons: No coffee in the room.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Closeness to Rail and Centre of City
Cons:
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: I have visited 27 countries, I saw a lot of different hotels. But this hotel is the worst hotel that I have ever seen! I was afraid to take a shower, because it was ssooo dirty! it is not 30star hotel. I will not even give 1 star to it! The lamp in the toilet was blinking like at the discoteque and the staff did nothing to help us. Staff was not aatentive, not smily, they just didn't care about anything. The door of the toilet didn't close. Wallpapers were 3 cm from the walls. It is a peppergrass for 100 euro per night!!!
2.8 Mediocre
Pros: only location
Cons: my air conditioner is not work, but i got only 10 euro back . It too expensive for the room without air conditioner
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Please write at least 15 words
Cons: Dirty tired.uncomfortable beds. Miles from the beach.Inedible breakfast disgusting outlook.
4.8 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: It was located in an area that I would not consider safe; it would be better further south but were not made aware. Because of safety, a car park would have helped for coming back late.

Pros: The hotel staff is great, the food as well as the location of the hotel is wonderful..we are satisfied ..
5.4 Okay
Pros: Place
Cons: Fridge was not working, doors couldn’t be closed
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is right on the beach, they provided us with beach towels and 2 bottles of water daily. Additionally, it has a nice terrace with long chairs, shower and a hammock. The breakfast selection was small but tasty. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend their on-site restaurant - has fantastic dishes.

8.3 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Well situated for all attractions
Cons: Prepayment well before arrival
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice terrace, nice appartment
Cons: Far from train station
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice location near to beach
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Convenient location, clean room and a friendly and helpful staff. We liked our stay at Villa Velvet very much. The place s close to the beach and restaurants, yet conveniently far from the main street and thus silent and quiet, enabling for a nice terrace breakfasts. Staff was very friendly and supportive, we received umbrellas and some extra beach stuff for free to enjoy the sun time. Building and rooms are clean and modern, cleaned every day. Each room has a fully equipped kitchen (the larger room had a washing maschine which was totally cool). Villeneuve-Loubet is a small town which looks as a typical summer seaside village, but once you discover the old village you will find it amazing. Also, it is very close to Nice, Moncao, Eze and also some fantastic cities like Saint Paul de Vence or Valbonne (totally recommended!). Overall, a very good location for a vacation stay!
Cons: We had two rooms, the smaller one had a great terrace for morning breakfasts or evening wine discussions. The larger was more comfortable due to size, but the two points potentially worth mentioning: there were a separate toilet room and a separate shower room (located at opposite parts of the apartment). This was ok, but in the toilet there were no sink to wash hands, so you need to go the shower room. Kinda weird design I must say. The other thing you should be aware is that the room located on ground zero at the back of the building is a bit dark - it has an own small garden patio but is a bit hidden from sun. Not a huge disadvantage but clearly visible as compared to front side rooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location and cleanliness.
Cons: Nothing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment was excellent. A small studio but lovely and clean. The small kitchenette was well appointed with excellent oven and microwave - mind you we only used it to heat our morning croissants! The women at reception was very helpful and spoke excellent English, slightly better then my French. Supermarket and good restaurants nearby. We had.a car so getting to Nice was not.a problem but public transport was not quite so frequent as the location is outside the main Nice bus routes but there is a train station not far away. All in all an excellent place to stay.
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Just a couple of minutes walk from the beach, Villa Velvet was in the perfect location. Our apartment was cleaned every day and the staff were very welcoming and friendly - their English was far better than our poor French! The apartment was very secure - we had our own key and a code to come and go at our leisure.
Cons: The room was a little small - we stayed in a studio apartment - but we did have 6 weeks worth of luggage with us!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: It’s a beautiful, well located small hotel!! This was my 3rd stay there. Gorgeous, well maintained property! Easy parking.. lovely breakfasts... picturesque pool!!
Cons: Nothing I can think of...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We love this property, staffs very friendly, food is good, location is great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about Le Hameau is intended to enchant. the exquisite natural landscape enhanced by all of the flowers, the decor, the personalized attention to cuisine, the teeny rooms filled with antiques...
Cons: If I had one minor complaint it would be that water should certainly have been available in the rooms or by the pool or in the library in the muggy heat of August. As it was, I had to inquire several times and never received any..
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely warm and friendly atmosphere inspired by excellent staff. Beautiful hotel, pool and gardens with view over hills and valley. And only 10 minutes walk to St Paul de Vence.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed. Safety car parking and very clean pool. Also very nice design. I like everything.
Cons: Nothing
5.8 Okay
Pros: Charming and pretty, nice pool, hot tub and view.
Cons: Only 1 of the 2 bedrooms had air conditioning. There were very strange and strict rules about not bringing any outside food to the room or the pool - you had to buy from the hotel, which was expensive and very inconvenient and choices were minimal. Would not stay again for this reason.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent environment, extremely clean room and bed, very friendly people, and walking distance to St Paul de Vence
Cons: Non
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The grounds of the hotel, and especially the breakfast terrace, are beautiful, lovely gardens and shady pergolas to sit under with lots of seating. Also, they provided our vegan daughters with an amazing vegan breakfast, avocados, vegan porridge, almonds and coconut milk. Very friendly personal service nothing too much trouble.
7.9 Good
Pros: Quiet and relaxing with pleasant staff.
Cons: Not allowed own food or drink in room which was a pity.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fantastic hotel at a fantastic location. The hotel is a boutique hotel with absolutely charming features - few rooms with all amenities, great breakfast in a picturesque garden, great dinner service. The hotel owner and director is an Italian signora with great style and a perfect hostess. Truly one of the most unique places that we as frequent travellers - both for business as well as for personal reasons - have ever seen.
Cons: There is really nothing that was not perfect.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable and very clean. Nice and friendly staff

Cons: No view or air if the window with inner “garden”.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: House keepers are very good, cleaning twice a day. Salons and lounges are epic! Cooking is brilliant! Room and common areas decor is fabulous!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location, cleanliness, and attentive staff are unparalleled.
Cons: N/A
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The location, the food, the personel, the elevator
Cons: The whole hotel has more feeling of the old luxury hotel from last century. Hotel needs a complete fresh up. On the other hand it would be a waste of a piece history and old fashioned taste.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Decor of room and hotel was magnificent as always The staff were friendly and efficient which made our stay very pleasurable and the revamped La Ronde looked great and the food was terrific
Cons: The bathroom flooded when having a shower over bath tub which was simply unworkable and irritated me immensely at the time making me reluctant to stay again although our previous stays have been great with Thierry indulging my wife with photos each year
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A fresh buffet breakfast is served each morning at the ' La Rotonde restaurant' but its a shame they have refurbished it recently, i was so badly wanting to see the Carousel in its glory which would have added to the quirkiness of the hotel. We sat on most days on the terrace, outside the restaurant to be able to enjoy the views, our table overlooking the Mediterranean sea. The food and the views were worth it !! The few best things about this hotel are its excellent location , its also beautifully decorated inside with art and antiques everywhere and has a beautiful period fully functioning lift from a by gone era of quality. They also have a relationship with the beach across the street so you are able to just walk a few steps and be on your sunbed in no time. From Grace Kelly and Micheal Jackson, from the Beatles to Liz Taylor, the list of internationally known stars that have graced the Negresco is impressive. This has been listed by the government of France as a National Historic Building and you can see it on most postcards of Nice .Your always in awe, thinking whether this is a Hotel or a Museum.
Cons: Our Rivoli rooms were the nicely refurbished one albeit the air con was difficult to operate and the room was very warm. Also the staff at the check in was a tad bit grumpy maybe she had a bad day other that that , but other than that , it was great!!
5.4 Okay
Pros: Excellent location , good food.
Cons: Stuff were very dismissive and unhelpful at all. Very disappointing. Rooms weren’t clean enough.
6.0 Good
Pros: Historic building, beautiful lobby
Cons: Rooms definitely need refurbishment
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We received a room with a sea view which made it hard for us to leave it every day. Hotel is doing a great job in maintaining the authenticity of the rooms. Valet service was always prompt irrespective of the time of day/night.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, stuff friendly , hotel beautiful itself
Cons: Bed and pillows could be more comfortable
6.0 Good
Pros: The ambiance was nice- classic old style .The rooms were big and the view spectacular. Unfortunately the bath tub drain cover was not working so it required a nail file to remove the cover to drain the tub. This was repeated every day of our stay without the staff fixing it! The room was not cleaned on returning in the afternoon and we were told by reception that we had to call for cleaning !The wall tiles had black mould which Is really unacceptable in a hotel of this class.also, our room had chipped paint around doors and peeling wallpaper trim. All in all,This hotel needs revamping. On the plus side, the location is the best in Nice.
Cons: The staff were very poor in responding to complaints - no apologies ever.My room smelled of mould ,to discover next day that there was a furnace type room opening into my closet, which did not have a door.On complaining ,I was given an excuse instead of an apology. Also, after staying 3 days,I was stopped by a security doorman on entering the lobby ,to question me if I was staying at the hotel. Very very upsetting and again ,after telling him yes ,no apology. Good staff should know the guests and be carful before causing an embarrassing moment. The service at breakfast was very poor and the buffet layout difficult to manage due to the tightness of the restaurant.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Modern hotel well decorated with modern furnishings. Good location about 15 minutes walk from the old town. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lots of plug sockets in the room and bed very comfortable. Balcony is a lovely size. To maximise the view ask for a third floor room.
Cons: Hotel advertises itself as 100 percent non smoking but smoking is apparently allowed on balconies as ashtrays are provided. The room next door constantly smoked on their balcony which meant we were not able to use ours because of the awful smell.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really attentive and helpful. Although the location looks a bit far on the map, in reality it was only a 10-minute-walk from the old city. We loved the room and enjoyed every second we spent there. There is also a supermarket as well as a small bakery nearby where you can buy snacks and drinks to enjoy the beautiful view on the balcony of your room.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The owners were extremely helpful and friendly, greeting us with smiles always! The double room was very spacious, immaculately clean with excellent air conditioning. The bathroom was again extremely clean with fresh towels and linen provided daily. We were able to make use of the Chantilly's parasols and beach mats for free which made our time on the beach much more comfortable. On our last day we took the breakfast and it was fantastic! Home made cakes, fresh bread, croissants, fresh fruit, cheese, meats....the list goes on! We would not hesitate to return to the Chantilly on our next visit to Cagnes Sur Mer.

Cons: The bathroom dose not have a ventilation system!

Pros: Amazing breakfast comfort bed!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Frederique and Gerard were great hosts. They were so welcoming. Try to remember when an owner helped you with your bags to your room or showed you around the breakfast buffet. The location id superb. Close to train station and beach. Dozens of good restaurants within walking distance.
Cons: The bed was a bit hard for me bit my wife was just fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Close to the beach, city centre and train station. Lovely terrace to have breakfast. Wonderful hosts, thoughtful and considerate. Comfortable, clean and good size room.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: This is a charming hotel beside the Hippodrome, where there are sulky races on hot summer nights. It's a short walk to a nice, although rather pebbly beach, with plenty of good restaurants nearby. The hosts are welcoming and polite, and the breakfast - outside in a secluded front garden area - is simple but pleasant.
Cons: The breakfast buffet area is rather small and if there are other guests staying, it gets a bit crowded. At one point in our stay there was a strong odour from the toilets.

Cons: The rooms! They're fine but there was absolutely no where to put anything. Our room had one lawn chair. It was weird. It all feels a little too Miami Vice with the colors. Felt slightly Miami-ish/Golden Girls. Bottom floor was noisy with window open.

4.6 Okay
Pros: The location was great.
Cons: Over-priced. Really basic uncomfortable room for 350 euros a night! Unwelcoming staff. Uncomfortable beds. Unresponsive management—we told them we were unhappy with room, but they didn’t care.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely lovely hotel, very attractive and pleasant ambiance, wonderful convenient location near the old town, charming professional efficient pleasant staff, we had a superior double room which was spacious, elegant and with a small private enclosed terrace... couldn't have been nicer.... good restaurant for both breakfast and dinner. Swimming pool was a bonus.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Huge room with huge balcony. Very friendly staff. Restaurant on site. Nice pool. You could order drinks at the pool, but not food. Easy walk to beach, restaurants, sight seeing.
Cons: Restaurant was expensive. Tiny rooftop gym was actually charming, but equipment was outdated, no water, no circulation. I suspect it doesn’t get used much, so I appreciated that it was even there.
7.9 Good
Pros: Great view from room overlooking the sea and seafront. Staff were helpful and friendly.
Cons: The hotel rooms were tired looking, hotel needs to be modernized. Breakfast selection was not great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Responsiveness of staff to our needs.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed, great shower, fantastic air conditioning - rocked all the boxes for us.
Cons: Location and room fab. Great pool area too.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly, helpful and made us feel at home. Our room felt warm and a fan was promptly provided. The old town was a short walking distance from the hotel and the elevator up to castle hill is next to the hotel. The pool was wonderful and nestled among the cliff side. Couldn't recommend this hotel more.
7.1 Good
Pros: The location is great, cannot beat it really. Right next to Old Nice, in front of the beach and still walking distance to the main shopping street. I also liked the balcony of my room and the roof (not the "fitness center" though).
Cons: In general my stay was disappointing. Firstly, it is a terrible value for money place. The only great thing is the location. I paid 550 Euros for a small okay room (with a great balcony however). The breakfast was okay at best. I am a big eggs in the morning guy and they just looked watery and ill. I did not even try them. The other hot option was sausages, and what am I going to eat sausages without eggs?! I was there for a night so I also had dinner. I had work to do so ordered room service. Next morning I woke up with an upset stomach and still have one. I ordered a caesar salad and smoked salmon. Clearly something was not clean.. (I did not eat something else). I had to drive all the way to Cinque Terre the next morning and that was not pleasant at all. The fitness center is outdated with one treadmill, one bicycle and one elliptical. I felt like I was going to fall off the elliptical. In my eyes, management feels complacent due to the location, the views (yeah it looks great in photos) and history of the building. My advice is sell it to someone that can do a better job of taking care of their guests. I actually noticed in Nice that a lot of hotels are not part of a chain and have a great location but just look sad. It defaced the city. Seems like a problem to me. I am not particularly a fan of large chains, I have been to many great independent hotels and boutiques (one the previous night in Aix, called Maison d'Aix gave it 10/10). But when the original owners and management grow complacent, it is not a great look for the city. A 7.1/10 is a gift when taking into account the value of money.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Charming historic property with lovely views and wonderful staff.
Cons: A bit tough to reach due to narrow roads but worth the effort. A bit further from Nice than anticipated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old chateau very well converted into this rabbit warren of a hotel.
Cons: I wouldn’t say we disliked anything. Only don’t try to get your car there, it’s down a tiny, tiny road. The hotel have a car that can collect you and your luggage from the nearby security car park. The security car park doesn’t take big or expensive cars by the way.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in an amazing old village, with winding cobblestone streets. The hotel is a tastefully converted old castle on a cliff, which makes for a very unique experience. The restaurant had the most delightful view overlooking the sea. The staff at the hotel and restaurant were all very helpful.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Lovely situation in a Medieval village of note, great sea views and really super attentive staff who couldn't do enough for us. Easy to walk up into the village, or down into the newer town. Very easy from the airport. Excellent attentive staff.
Cons: The location doesn't provide a relaxed outside seating area. There isn't much they can do about it, it is in a tight village setting. You have to be able to walk including stairs but if you can't do this you shouldn't be staying in a Medieval hill top village.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Although the location was a little remote and access was slightly difficult, it was a peaceful and lovely option to staying in Nice which was about 25 minutes by car. We have been there twice and would stay there again. Beautiful place.
8.5 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent dining, amazing local history and clean.
Cons: No hotel parking but superb free taxi service to lower valley car parks by staff
6.3 Good
Pros: The building is lovely and the terrace is nice.
Cons: Our room, which we chose based on the various deluxe room photos online, doesn’t appear online. It was a strange room with an internal staircase leading downstairs (within the room) to a cave-like room with low ceilings and tiny/short opaque windows. The room size is fine, but not at all like the other deluxe rooms shown online. My husband hit his head on the ceiling multiple times and I was challenged with my claustrophobia, with the ceiling probably 5’10”. Sink and shower didn’t drain well. We queried the reception about whether this was what we had reserved and it had a plaquard saying it was a deluxe room, so because we arrived late and tired, we didn’t argue.
5.0 Okay
Pros: This is a neat property in a very old part of town. View from balcony and room was very nice (we had a premium room).
Cons: There is not much they can do about it but parking anywhere near the building is not possible. Breakfast is expensive. Dinner menu very limited but we found a restaurant nearby that was great.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: All the rooms are named after painters. there is a gallery above the main reception, a bar and some interesting windows out the front of the hotel which we found after breakfast. Our room (Besset) was at the back of the hotel and full of antique furniture up on the third floor/roof of the hotel. The shower room was compact but well designed with a choice of toiletries. There is a lift and excellent air conditioning. The hotel is found in narrow pedestrian streets and the hotel is decorated beautifully- magnificent ambience. The staff are relaxed and come to fetch your cases from the car (which may be parked quite far away.) You can take a relaxed breakfast on the outdoor terrace.
Cons: Be very careful to find the car park instead of trying to drive to the hotel. It is impossible (and may be nerve wracking!) unless your car is tiny! The streets get narrower and narrower. We liked everything but the breakfast was quite expensive at 25 euros. Nice though. Worth it for the terrace experience.

Pros: The staff were friendly and very helpful

Pros: Amazing location and very helpful staff!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location was good, staff friendly and helpful. Facilities in the roomwere good.
Cons: The shower was on the small side and could have been more accessible.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A nice room, with 2 windows opening to the street. Air con was excellent. Also loved the continental breakfast included with our room. Was such a cool and quirky restaurant!
Cons: No lift, but we were on the first floor, so didn’t worry us. Got woken up to street noise at 1am one morning. It was a noisey rubbish truck/ cleaning the streets...Didn’t hear it on the other 2 nights of our stay, so possibly once a week....
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect if you want to be close to old Nice, the port of Nice and the promenade des anglais. It is also close from excellent restaurants. The staff is very friendly and they kept our luggage a few hours after our check out so we could travel around the city without the suitcases before our depart to Cannes. The beds are comfortable, and the air conditioner worked perfectly as expected :)
Cons: The near area is dirty, but the whole city, specially within the centre it’s that way. It is not the hotel’s fault.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff and clean room
Cons: It’s was a bit noisy in our corner room because of the restaurant below.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location excellent. Nice building. Interesting/fun decor.
Cons: Staff could have been warmer, more welcoming.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Super cute hotel in excellent location. New bathroom and good quality mattress and linen. Friendly staff.
Cons: My room was directly above a busy road and the traffic was really noisy throughout the night. The curtains were also partially broken so bright street and shop lights were hard to block out. I really did like everything about this hotel but I had such a dreadful nights sleep on account of the traffic noise just couldn’t stay there again.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good air conditioning, excellent location
Cons: Weird breakfast setup, no 24 hour staff, Fire Alarm at midnight only identified by guests as no hotel employee on premises, so had to go next door for assistance.

Pros: Amazing decor, fantastic location. Can’t fault it.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great decor and sculptures, fantastic atmosphere. Really helpful staff, do not have anything negative to stay about this hotel!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a fantastically well run property on Cap D’Antibes within a 15 minute walk to the pedestrian zone of Juan les Pins. The secret of its success is its manager, who is on site from early morning to after dinner, working his hardest to ensure that every guest enjoys his stay. The beach is small but its operations are well run. The main restaurant deserves its Michelin star, and the beach restaurant also was very good.
Cons: Like most every place in Europe, the hotel’s A/C cannot really hold up to 40+ degree days.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good although slow to replenish when food had gone. Service was brilliant.
Cons: water temperature was inconsistent when having a shower although it improved after we complained.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully decorated, spacious room. Great views over the bay. Located right on a private beach.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location, bar, lovely staff, beachfront restaurant, fabulous views
Cons: Beach very crowded and noisy, due to the numbers of children
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Good
Cons: Nothing
6.7 Good
Pros: Location Rooms and balcony WiFi access
Cons: Told would be informed when our room was ready on arrival - no one did so. We came up to the reception at 5pm with our bags still sitting in the lobby and the room having been ready hours before Too many people given access to the beach area. Continuous requirement to book lunch and casual dinner as a hotel guest when we should be given priority over external guests. We then booked and reservation not listed and told no room for dinner. Accommodated by friendly manager. Dinner menu then limited as had catered for huge external party earlier that day- poor experience. Front reception very polite Service staff were fine without going out of their way. Booked the fine dining - fine not exceptional. requirement to decide if you want dessert before you even commence your meal Overall hotel not value for money
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance from Juan les Pins (10 mins), the hotel is a very modern and contemporary design. The rooms are fantastic, we had a terrace and small garden area and could walk from the room to the beach and pool. The staff were very friendly and helpful when required. There is a great restaurant, beach and pool all with great views out over the sea and obligatory abundance of super yachts.
Cons: There is not much not to like! It is quite pricey, but worth it considering where you are staying.

Pros: The location was amazing, I had a room with a balcony so it was quite nice. The location is very prime, within walk of distance to the beach, shops and about 3 minute walk to the train station that goes directly to the airport. The service was also quite nice, very warm welcome.
Cons: I ordered in room service for breakfast, and there were quite limited options which were mostly just bread considering the price. I would have been better off getting breakfast from a nearby cafe. rooms are quite small , but I guess it value for money.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The staff were super friendly and the bed was incredibly comfy.
Cons: The fire alarm went off in the middle of the night and no one knew what was going on. We were all out of our beds wandering around. No communication from the hotel about this and no compensation was offered. (there was no fire)

3.1 Mediocre
Pros: Some of the staff are very lovely and i grew tired moaning at them.. Eden rock we’re we stayed the previous week could learn from them... in fact they should poach all their staff particularly nathalie who is most excellent
Cons: It is difficult to understand how they have had so many high ratings as feed back I can only conceive they have faked their reviews. This is not a 5 Star hotel which might be where our issues lie. Rightly or wrongly I expect certain things when I travel Clean rooms , gym , working internet, comfortable pool and furniture, more than 2-3 hour time windows in which to order food, a lift that will fit a pram, comfortable lounge areas... I also object to spending €50 on Sun beds everyday... however I have more Il feeling towards hotel.com who sold it as a five star hotel and then showed no interest in helping me change booking .., We knew the area that we were supposed to be in and felt comfortable booking the hotel as it claimed to be a 5 Star. Then they just ignored my complaints , I also paid for a direct sea view which you get on the 4th and 5th floors but on the 3rd only a view of trees hotel .com again unhelpful..
