Nice staff, good location!
Breakfast was quite good. Pastries / bakery was very tasty. Its looks more as a brunch, everything was tasty and fresh. I showed up 5 minutes till the end of the breakfast, so no issues, they wait till I take what I want and eat in peace. The location right next to railway station, very central by walking or by car. We arrive by car and near hotel was empty public parking, no issues to find the good place. We did not found any big noise inside the room.
The room, comfort class was awful. Terribly smelly. Smell of moisture. It was smell like hundreds workers after mining shift were sleeping a week in the room without taking shower. Terrible. Me and my wife have head ache after a night spend in that room. Unfortunately it was the only room left in the whole hotel. Bed was terrible and its actually two single bad put together With separate mattresses. No shampoo, no shower gels, nothing. Just two pieces of hand soap. No minibar or small refrigerator. After we complain about smell and bed, administrator just told us she do not feel anything. Probably she got terrible flu?! And her smell sense was closed. Its possible to hang something on this smell. No excuses, no compensation was offered from the hotel administration. Just before we came, they tried to take out that smell, by keeping opened windows. At that night it was quite cold. So, we got very cold and smelly room as result of hotel stuff experience. Do not take 1st and second room on first floor on the right side, if you want to avoid the smell.
Staff spoke English and Finnish. Breakfast good enough. Next customer, ask "kaurapuuro" at breakfast.
