My original room didn’t have working AC. Took me 4 hours to convince the front desk that it wasn’t working. Also… my room was next to the laundry room for the entire hotel. My entire room shook when the washers were running. Once I got my room switched, things were much nicer.

Pros:The location is convenient, near I-70, major retail, and restaurants. Staff was kind and helpful.
Cons:The clientele and surroundings were sketchy at best. There were people using drugs in the parking lot, a prostitute roaming the grounds, and major disrepair throughout. The room I booked was grimy and uninhabitable to a nonsmoker. I was moved to a smaller room along the high traffic road, but at least it was clean.
Pros:The worst place I've ever stayed. Greeted by beggars, smells like cigarettes and mj, a bug was in my bed. Absolutely awful. I thought for over $100 a night it would be more. Don't let that fool you!
Cons:There was nothing to like. They've tried to update it but the homeless people ruined it. Just terrible.

Pros:I did really enjoy the morning staff, the man at the front desk was extremely helpful and friendly. I found the beds and room to be quite comfortable and it made for a very very nice stay. Everything in the rooms/bathroom at least were very clean when I arrived.
Cons:I was not terribly impressed with the infrastructure and cleanliness of the hotel itself. Yes, the rooms were fine. But it appeared that perhaps the entire hotel had recently underwent a remodeling process. But many of the rooms in the lobby looked very sloppy and unfinished. There were markings all over the doors and the floors were quite dirty as well as the carpets. It did not have a very "warm or welcoming" feel.
Cons:Breakfast bar was less than advertised; a joke! There were sticky stains on the carpet, YUCK. The cable TV was in and out most of the night. Complimentary hand lotion was half full - USED. Staff was very unfriendly - did not refill breakfast area. Much cheaper and much nicer rooms are available down the road in Black Hawk.

Cons:It wasn't clean, they advertise a pool but it's destroyed!!! The court yard looked like the place should be abandoned! For $75 a night I expect more! Even towels were hard! Had just left another super 8 that was beautiful so I didn't expect it to be a dump. There was vomit in hallway and no one cleaned it up. Maids walked around it! VERY DISAPPOINTING! ALSO there were loud arguments all night so not much sleep either. I should of demanded my money back and went elsewhere but I was meeting my Father there. He was also very disappointed becuz he stays at SUPER 8 only when he travels and has never encountered this issue. Therefore we thought we were safe in making reservations. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone! It was more like a crack hotel rented by the hour! Not a real safe area either I don't think! Drug dealers hanging around! I hope u take this place off the website!!!
Pros:The bed itself seemed clean and was very comfortable.
Cons:Aside from the bed, everything was dirty and in a state of disrepair. We did not experience loud neighbors but walking down the hall you could hear people's conversations in their rooms - I think the walls are pretty thin. We wanted somewhere cheap to stay but I felt bad about my toddler walking on the carpet in our room in bare feet (I wouldn't let him walk on the carpet in the hallways - that carpet was disgusting). It just felt very unclean. I'm not sure we would stay there again based solely on that fact, but it wasn't that bad. Also, there was no elevator to bring our stuff to our room on the second floor which was inconvenient.
