Great View...but cockroaches ☹️
The view was perfect! Room looked clean. My one night stay started off right.
I saw one cockroach run down the back of my door and onto the floor. The other cockroach fell onto my pillow from ? I let the older woman with the big blonde hair know about this upon checkout. She said, “I’ve never heard that one before! We do NOT have cockroaches.” I’m not going back.
Old. Solid. Fun
It was cool. It was old. It was clean
It needs a face lift
The Adobe Resort in Yachats, OR is a spot for those who want the best of all possible worlds – you get the crashing surf, the beautiful landscape, and a setting right along the ocean. The property is part of a quiet coastal village tucked between busier Newport and Florence, and this means visitors can enjoy uncrowded beaches, lots of walking and hiking, and even premium golfing at Waldport and Newport.
Many travelers head to the area for whale and sea lion watching, beachcombing, crabbing or fishing, and to charter pleasant boat rides along the coast. In other words, they come to relax, and the hotel offers an ideal setting for just that.
The on site amenities support that idea and include the award-winning restaurant that serves three meals daily, a heated pool, hot tub, full fitness center, a children’s pool area, and a sauna. There is also a popular gift shop and boutique on the premises with works by local artisans, making it the perfect spot to find souvenirs to bring back home. There is also a lounge with casual dining and pizza.
The 100+ rooms and suites vary widely. There are whirlpool suites, apartments, hillside rooms, and second-floor rooms. The rooms have sea or landscape views, and some have sliders opening directly to the grounds and the seaside. All rooms feature a refrigerator, microwave, hot beverage system, entertainment system, free Wi-Fi, telephone and large, private bath.
