Location was OK easy to find
Hotel was very tired and dirty, stains on sofas in bar, sheets did not fit the bed properly, Young lads serving in restaurant were atrocious. definitely taking advantage of the your tourist market as not worth the money
Good location, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. Not in the league of quality chains, but absolutely fine.
The parking was a mess, with inadequate lighting and signage. Confusing at night. Staff were plentiful but mainly untrained and not very ‘aware’, especially in the restaurant. Breakfast was plentiful and a good range of choice, but rather average in quality.
The lady on reception when we arrived was very helpful. Also the use of the leisure facilities 10 minutes away was well worth the journey
The room was freezing when we arrived at 8 o’clock at night, after a long day that isn’t what you want!! We were unable to sort the heating out but the receptionist was very efficient and solved the problem as soon as she could, providing us with a heater until the heating came on.
The staff lacked personality. Not very welcoming. The barman in the function room was incredibly rude to an older member of our party, completely unjustified and deserves a P45. The hotel could do with a refurbishment especially for the prices they charge. I would not recommend to others. However our wedding breakfast and breakfast the following morning was enjoyable. So I think the chef's maybe the only attraction.
Location, stayed here 3 times.
Inability to book the restaurant and the issue with plates on tables after 4 hours. In the end we did it ourselves . Papers not ordered, and having to keep registering a credit card every time you wanted anything,....
