Sat nav information takes you somewhere completely different
good breakfast good service
two flights of stairs to our room
There were problems with recieving digital signals for a few channels including BBC1 but thereagain I don't go away to watch TV.
Location was OK, only took 15 minutes to walk into the city centre. We were lucky to get a space in the car park but it was very tight. The room was clean, although very basic.
The room we were given was horribly decorated (it wasn't any of the rooms pictured on the website) with odd furniture. It was clear that the bedding was old as it was faded, but it was clean. The bathroom smelled awful, but again seemed clean on the face of things. All the room keys were stored in a box on the wall which appeared to be easily accessible to anyone walking by - we thought about leaving our bags there for the day after check out so we didn't have to carry them around all day, but changed our minds because of this.
Location was spot on .... 20 min walk into York £5 taxi on the way home Free parking was a bonus Staff were friendly Room was clean Exactly what you need for a night out in York Very good value for money especially for York Would happily book to stay there again
