Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is very quiet and not far from the stop of the electric bus into the town centre.
Hotel is further away from town centre that we thought, up a steep hill which can be tricky in the winter if there's snow on the ground. Breakfast is included in the price (which is much appreciated) but not much option.

Very nice small hotel... warm receiption, country style room... feels like home. Staffs were quite friendly and helpful. It was not easy for us to climbing and look for the hotel with heavy luggagues but it worthed. We would have extended our stay if possible!

Though it is far and inconvenient to reach the hotel from the station (about 30 minutes by walk), for that, scenery was more beautiful! We were little disappointed not to see the Matterhorn from the room, because our room was a loft.But we were very happy to see the very good scenery from the place for breakfast.
The ceiling is the room (particularly bathroom) was very low. I bumped my head sometimes.And, hand towels were not prepared (only bath towels).

Friendly and helpful staff. great dinner buffet value. Was 25 sfr per meal but for what you got it beat anything you could get in town. Free breakfast also very good. Was upgraded to a corner room with an outstanding view of the Matterhorn from the balcony. Very comfortable bed.
Little out of the way from center of town/train station. With luggage, recommend taking a taxi or a bus

The Bijou hotel is located in the ski resort of Zermatt, 200 m away from the Matterhorn glacier Paradise aerial cable car and 1,5 km from the centre of the village, the church square and the Findelbach train station, near a ski bus stop (Winkelmatten line), as well as within walking distance from the ski lifts and the ski school.
