Perfect boutique hotel experience from beginning to end. Located close to Amsterdam Central train station and directly in front of a tram station. Also right by the north end of the main tourist shopping area. I stayed here with my daughter for 4 nights and it was a seamless stay. Recommend adding on the buffet breakfast to your stay. It was convenient and very high quality, better than anything you can get at another restaurant. Staff and service at Kimpton were very professional, friendly, personal. Our room was upgraded because we were IHG Platinum members. It wasn’t large but it was comfortable and very clean. Housekeeping every day was meticulous and seemed to be able to clean our room no matter what time we left it. We are frequent travelers and stayed in hotels all over the world. We prefer boutique hotels and this was one of our best experiences. Would definitely recommend.
Hotel itself clean, well appointed. Staff friendly, courteous. Location with road construction, uncollected garbage, uneven walkways. But near Amsterdam Central. Surrounding restaurants ok.
