Pros (+) friendly staff, proximity to bus stop (15-20 min ride into Anchorage for $2; car rental $30/day offseason), good value for price, upgraded my room for 4 nights :)
Cons (-) not the place to bring your mom or grandma. you'll meet some Alaska residents, thats for sure. Building is not super new and there are not many amenities, but it'll do

Pros (+) The poor man stayed up late to let me in after my flight came in late, after 1 am! So thankful for that.
Cons (-) However, there was suspicious activity going on in the parking lot. Lots of cars running, with and without people in them, people walking back and forth between them, and this was well after midnight....
