Great location...great front desk BUT...broken window latch made passing road traffic seem like it was right inside the room n made sleeping almost impossible

Pros (+) friendly staff, proximity to bus stop (15-20 min ride into Anchorage for $2; car rental $30/day offseason), good value for price, upgraded my room for 4 nights :)
Cons (-) not the place to bring your mom or grandma. you'll meet some Alaska residents, thats for sure. Building is not super new and there are not many amenities, but it'll do

Pros (+) The poor man stayed up late to let me in after my flight came in late, after 1 am! So thankful for that.
Cons (-) However, there was suspicious activity going on in the parking lot. Lots of cars running, with and without people in them, people walking back and forth between them, and this was well after midnight. The room smelled so strongly of cigarette smoke that it was making me nauseous. After emptying most of my febreeze on the room, it was better. Cons (-) The place was disgusting! And didn't have own bathroom in rooms had to share with everyone and of you didn't wear shower shoes u probably would have brought something home. Didn't even sleep under covers.
