Cons: The location is very convenient for the (magnificent) station and a reasonable walk to the centre. Otherwise rather grubby area, with a temporary fun fair when we were there and extensive road works near by. Indeed Antwerp municipality seem to go about things in an odd way. The central square was completely taken over by a pop festival, ruining the place for non-participants (why not have it a little away from the centre. They are talking of constructing a cruiser terminal on the river by the centre of town. Madness - have they learnt nothing from the mistakes of Venice, Barcelona, Lisbon etc?

Pros: The hotel was in a great location. The rooms were well equipped and very nicely decorated. The hotel is nice and quiet and has a peaceful atmosphere. The staff were very pleasant and helpful with our enquiries.
Cons: Although the sheets on the bed were clean and freshly laundered they were stained. The bed was not a kind rather two single beds pushed together which was a little uncomfortable to sleep. The bed-side table was not very clean and I needed to clean it myself.

I would like to have some more information, eg. regarding how/where to use the wireless and in the elevator some more info about the different levels - eg. here is the bar, breakfast etc.

Pros: The staff, location, and provided facilities of this property were stellar. This was, hands down, the best place I stayed during my two week trip in Belgium. The room was clean and comfortable. The elevator was speedy. The laundry facilities were EXTREMELY useful. We didn't realize we'd be in the heart of the Diamond district and that was a delightful surprise. The hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shops, just down the street from a city bike station, a short walk from both the train station and the zoo, and a slightly longer walk to the Grote Markt.

At reception they solved this problem in minute without any extra charge. Working staff very polite, friendly and works 24 hours. At reception floor was pool table and we all had a fun specially kids. Room is amazing, clean, modern. Bed was very very comfortable. We had a kitchen in room. It has everything you need even more like kitchen hand towel. Food was lovely, location is perfect. WE ALL IN LOVE WITH THIS PLACE

Cons: This is the pickiest of nits: there's a step rather than a ramp from the sidewalk into the hotel's entrance. An incline was make access with heavy rolling suitcases, or even those wheelchair-bound, much easier.

The hotel isn’t as good as it was they charge for every last thing. €2 for coffee pads each and €5 for a bottle of water is excessive. Cons: Only thing negative is that in September they don’t have heating. When I asked the reception they said they don’t switch heating on till October. It’s a bit chilly specially for me who is not used to the cold weather. They offered me extra blankets though. But I still find it weird that room temp cannot be regulated for the occupants comfort.

Pros: The location is excellent. Easy walking distances to everything: the shops, the old city, a wide variety of places to eat and the amazing central train station is so close. No need for a taxi when checking out. The staff were extremely friendly and willing, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and fresh. The beds were indeed very comfortable. Combine that with the very quiet rooms you can guarantee a peaceful nights sleep. I would have liked a better wardrobe than the bookshelf type and would have preferred not to have to ask for more coat hangers (only 3 between 2 people). Housekeeping brought more and replaced a lamp within 1/2 hour of asking. Overall - great place to stay. Our choice on returning to Antwerp.

Cons: The duvet was rather too small and I needed more pillows & cushions. No complimentary coffee & tea. No iron in room.

Pros: The location is excellent. Easy walking distances to everything: the shops, the old city, a wide variety of places to eat and the amazing central train station is so close. No need for a taxi when checking out. The staff were extremely friendly and willing, nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and fresh. The beds were indeed very comfortable. Combine that with the very quiet rooms you can guarantee a peaceful nights sleep. I would have liked a better wardrobe than the bookshelf type and would have preferred not to have to ask for more coat hangers (only 3 between 2 people). Housekeeping brought more and replaced a lamp within 1/2 hour of asking. Overall - great place to stay. Our choice on returning to Antwerp.

Cons: Hotel is on the edge of the diamond district, and not on a particularly picturesque street. Old town Antwerp is a walkable distance, but it is not close.

Antwerp Centraal is almost outside, just metres away. And for travelling around Antwerp, the metro is even closer, between the hotel & the station. Breakfast was good.

Cons: Showing its age in parts perhaps. The elevators interiors looked new but the bath tub had a biscuit sized piece of enamel missing and underlying rust on display. Not the best impression. You would think they'd replace it but guess much re-decoration is involved too. I dunno but do hotels realise that when thy buy TVs they ought to buy maybe 2 spare remotes at the same time? Invariably a bunch of buttons give up with use early on.

Cons: As with other reviews, I would say that the hallways could do with a little refurbishment or brightening up. Particularly as other areas such as the breakfast room, reception etc are spotlessly clean & bright.

Cons: BED BUGS! We found bed bugs in the bathroom and on our luggage. It created so much work for us! We had to disinfect all luggage, wash and dry all of our clothes. Bed bugs are such a nuisance! Staff reacted very casually when we reported this problem as if we had complaints about a mosquito in the room. Totally unacceptable!

Quadraple room includes an internal wall, which separates adults' bed from the other two beds, while everything is in the same airspace.
Cons: Facilities are quite old and used. Room is fully covered by a carpet which cannot be cleaned perfectly and smells. Breakfast is not included in the room price, you can buy for extra 10 EUR, which is not cheap but it's not really expensive in Belgium.

Cons: Bathroom - the Shower doesn't have a real door / curtain.It had a movable -swinging glass piece ( and it's not sealed) causing water to leak all over the floor during shower and then it went under the door and into the room on the carpet. Mould in the bathroom. Chairs- The red chairs by the table were old, rickety and had back stains on arm rests. Not comfy chairs and wobbly. The BEDS- it would be better/ cleaner if the beds had mattress covers. The mattresses were a bit dirty and right underneath the bed sheet that kept coming off. So nothing between you and a dirty mattress if sheet moved, you were directly on the mattress! Had to keep adjusting sheets in the night, fitted bottom sheet would have been nice too
