Nice flowers garden and pool
Poor lunch box not worth the money
We've been at this safari lodge twice. We were just fascinated by how beautiful and peaceful this place is! Our tented lodge is located at the end of the path. From the side balcony (There're two balconies around our tented lodge.) you'll have a fantastic view of the baobab trees in the surroundings and the nearby Lake Manyara as well. There's a meerkat family living beneath us. They were awakened every morning when we stepped onto the balcony and ran like hell into the bushes:) Our tented lodge is spacious with a fan in it, even if you don't necessarily need it since it's quite cool at night. The whole place is just like a garden with hunderds of different sorts of flowers and plants. The swimming pool in front of the main restaurant is clean and first of all, almost quiet and empty in the morning!!! Because most of the guests have already left for a safari trip. So if time permits, you may spend the whole morning there like a king (or queen)!!!
The place is a bit far from the next township. It's almost impossible to take a walk outside when it's getting dark.
This place is a treasure in the jungle! Incredibly helpful and kind staff that go out of their way to make your stay special. Clean and private lodges are spread out in the beautiful nature with a small private walk way and a view over the Maynara lake. Great pool (we took a swim first day) the food is really very well prepared and soo yummie!!! My husband and I celebrated my 30th birthday here (surprise singing was a 10) but we had families with young children and larger groups of all ages as fellow lodgers so I think the stay suitable for all.
Location is good
Decieving pictures. Rooms not very tidy
The view is magnificent that is also the reason why we chose this hotel it is next to the Manyara park and you see the rim and some baobab trees from the swimmingpool. the rooms are big and medium standard but we did not expect more. the service was good. the food was very good nice buffet evening and morning so I would certainly recommend this place for
only the lunchbox was absurdly expensive (25 dollars) (I guess since we did not book via an agency but directly via booking.com) the wifi is not good but again we did not expect good wifi
