Campanile Avignon Sud - Montfavet la Cristole

We asked for the ground floor - we got it so great, but with most hotels booked through Booking.com we did not get next to the lift nor on the ground floor. We'd rate Campanile's as good budget to family - you know what you get and it's adequate. but Booking.com doesn't seem to have a way to get you a ground floor room when you ask for one, you need a lift or a ground floor question - otherwise we won't use booking.com again

No, it's what we expected - but the prices have gone up a lot since last year

The hotel is like a quiet resort, giving us very peaceful and enjoyable stay there! And the French cuisine is very good too! Although it's 2 stared, it looks more like a 3.5 hotel. Quite nice! Internet is free and very speedy.

However, it's far away from city center and railway station. Also the breakfast is way too simple and expensive.

There was free parking if the lot was not full and a great shower.

The hotel needed improved cleaning and maintenance (eg. dust ceiling in room, wash walls and doors in the bathroom, reduce clutter at the entryway, and clean the pool). Also, there was little to do in the village. There are many other villages and hotels to stay in this area, and we suggest that you try elsewhere.

i was never disapointed with Campanile resorts. I use to stay overnights in that chain during european road journeys

the infrastructures (any resort) need some facelift ( just some re-painting...)
