Dinner and breakfast were good (Drinks not included at dinner). Waiters and receptionist were very friendly. Pool, park, location and other amenities might be nice, however we did not get a chance to check them out due to short stay.
I'm sure the hotel has better rooms, unfortunately we received a pet room in the last corner of the hotel that was still smelly and quite dirty (carpet floors, found some cigarette buds on the balcony) so we didn't feel comfortable in our room at all. Luckily we only stayed one night but for that night it was very expensive and we had expected more. Also the WiFi did not work too great. Trying to find the hotel and parking was kind of tricky because we did not realize it is in a pedestrian zone. Long ways to carry luggage around. I would really like to give the hotel a better rating because it could have so much charm! Unfortunately that charm is not being kept up well enough I guess.
Good size room + breakfast had a good variety. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Bad Reichenhall is a charming small town only 15 min drive from Salzburg.
One can see that it used to be a Grand Hotel but it can do with a serious refurbishment. Wifi connection wasn't working well had to continuously reconnect. There are much simpler and user friendly solution to provide guests access to the internet. The pillows were oversized and uncomfortable but next morning on request the reception provided smaller sized pillows.
Value, rich breakfast
The hotel is under partial renovation. A bit far The restaurant manger had skin color discrimination and consider all the asian as group tour and make a table in designated area in the restaurant.
Beautiful terrace view.
Although I booked a room for 1 adult + 2 kids, a receptionist insisted that the room was booked for 2 adults. Unpolite man, behaving like it was my fault, should have at least apologized and offer a solution. Finally sleeping 3 person on one double bed. I will never go to this hotel again.
