There were many issues with this IBIS hotel. I have stayed in IBIS in other countries before. Experience in this location was certainly not in par with others. I took shuttle bus 4 times during my 2 nights stay at this location. I arrived late night and left hotel early morning on my last day. 3 out of 4 shuttle buses I tool were late and packed. In one case bus was so full that people left behind...

Pros (+) Room was quiet, although I could often hear other room doors slamming shut in the early morning as other guests came and went. Generally though, quite a pleasant stay for only one night. The hotel is also close to a bus station with frequent buses into Amsterdam Leidsplein for €6,50
Cons (-) As others have remarked, if there was small face cloth to use I would not have used both towels. The shuttle buses at around 8:00am are very busy and it is a bit of a free-for-all boarding them.

Cons (-) Dirty grout in the bathrooms, carpets need to be cleaned. It’s price is essentially all due to the location.

Pros (+) Ibis has tried a slightly more upscale version of it's standard hotel here. When you 1st walk in it looks amazing, coffee shop, escalators going to restaurant, and a nice big lobby with friendly staff. Oh and a convenience store for water, juices, chocolate etc.
Cons (-) Move past the aesthetics and you have a basic hotel again. I had to move room 3 times for various reasons, and it's back to thin towels, basic showers, and ikea looking paneled furniture. It's basically what we call in England 'Mutton dressed as Lamb'.
Pros (+) It was fine for the overlay in our travels. Our room was very basic, no frills. Close to the airport.
