Innkeepers were very friendly and approachable. We arrived at around 10pm for the check in and the staff was still around to hand us the keys. We also borrowed a hairdryer upon request. Room was simple, clean and comfortable.
Wifi was very weak and kept losing connection. It only works if you are near the door. There are also limited power sockets in the room. Also, we were appalled that we were served expired bread (2 weeks past the best before date) for the breakfast. We discovered it because one slice of the bread had mold and went to check the packaging.
Very cosy room, not too big but it had everything we needed after (a bit of) a rainy day. The owner was very helpful, we had a late check-in and we found al the instructions clearly explained by the front door. Would recommend!!
It wasn't the cheapest in town but hey, we had al we needed :)
Shower was not clean. Front door to room suffered from being wet prior to our stay and was extremely hard to open oue whole stay.
Good location, just a 2 min walk to centre of Banff. Excellent breakfast with freshly cooked croissants.
Bathroom a little tired but that was about it. For the price you not likely to get better so close to town.
Plenty of light, water pressure and hot water. Was very clean.
The room was SMALL, SMALL, SMALL. THE BATHROOM WAS EVEN SMALLER. I am 6 foot tall and hit my head on the door frame entering and leaving the bathroom no less than 3 times, the first one leaving a welt on my head along with a headache. You had to be a contortionist to navigate walking around the toilet to get to the sink. You have to step up about 8 inches to get into the SMALL (square footage) shower stall. I had about 2 inches of clearance to the ceiling in there. Also hit my head on the shower curtain rod stepping up and into the stall. Only had ONE mirror in the room--about a 2 foot oval situated just above the sink in the bathroom and even low for my 5 foot 7 wife. The bedroom had a queen bed and a twin bed leaving no room to open your suitcase unless you put it on a bed. Don't know how you would put 3 people with luggage in there. We only had 2 and were crunched. No blow dryer or tissues. The breakfast was mediocre at best. At check in I was told he would be in the kitchen cooking eggs, bacon, etc. We got down by 8:55 and had to fend for ourselves. My wife had to put the empty milk container out and waited until a young lady came out and brought in milk as well as refilled the empty croissant basket. Had to find parking on the street as they only have 5 spots reserved around the building on a first come first served basis. AS FOR THE PRICE, it was ridiculous for what we got. My 2 brothers stayed at the Brewsters Mountain Lodge in town and only paid $20 more for a luxurious VERY LARGE room with a bathroom almost as big as my room.
