The hotel attached to the property has eclectic decor, quite funky, like stepping back in time. The accomodation was basic, clean. The breakfast was good. The tariff was reasonable.
The crew was really nice and the room was okay, in just a few minutes we could walk to the old city center and parking is free of charge in the neighborhood.
Value for money was a but disappointing; at this rate we expected to be the simple breakfast to be included. There's no elevator and our room was three smallish stairs up; with two small kids somewhat of a challenge :-)
It was a fun place to stay. Decor retro and quite extraordinary. Breakfast was lovely.
We are two friends travelling together and we wanted separate beds. We were given the family room which actually had 2 separate if very small rooms. Appreciated this. It was nice to come back after a busy day to a bar and either a great big cup of tea or a wine or beer from the bar. It’s a quirky little hotel in a great position, just a short walk into the centre of the Old Town.
We liked our room, but I unfortunately it was on the top floor, up many winding stairs. But Lionel, the proprietor, carried our suitcases up and down. Lionel speaks very little English, but, then, we were in countryside France!
