Excellent hotel and staff. Our room with a balcony over looked the Mosel River and was big fantastic. Would highly recommend staying at this hotel. Food in the hotel restaurant was also very good.
Restaurant prices were slightly above average for the region, but the food was excellent.

The owner was very friendly, and very arranging to the problems... The breakfast was ok.
Never book a standard room, it's really bad equiped and noisy... I was put first in a smoking room though I asked for a non smoking room... I couldn't use the sauna arriving at 9pm, though I was told on the phone it was open till 10... For the room I got another one and then it was ok.

Great view of the Mosel River. Just blocks to the wine festival. Nice breakfast. Nice pool, sauna and breakfast.

Herr and Frau Nicolay are charming proprietors of this very pleasant, civilized family run hotel on the banks of the Mosel. Rooms are comfortable and immaculately clean and we had most delicious and beautifully served 5 course dinner (wines particularly good - try the Mosel red, a revelation). On top of this, bikes, swimming pool, sauna all available. Very highly recommended indeed.

Herr Nicolay Sr. was very friendly and kind.
I think the hotel should think about offering a van/ pick up service. Especially for those coming in to town for the feast or special occaisons.
