The sea view - the hotel sits on the prom with a lovely view of the sea
The attic room had its number written on with felt tip pen - the walls where the most horrible colour - the room was tiny and set back in the 1970'S. The bar was supposed to be open till midnight but was closed when arrived back at 10pm. We didnt expect the Savoy but we were very dissapointed with the hotel

We chose the Gainsborough because we were treating ourselves to a hotel on the prom for the first time and requested a sea view. Also the breakfasts were delicious.
the ensuite was clean but lacked storage for basic toiletries (toothbrushes, toothpaste) and somewhere to put your towel when you were showering
