We really loved this place. The room was excellent; clean, up to date, and with a comfortable bed. The area inside the hotel had the feel of an old inn. Their on-site restaurant as fabulous serving local fare. We had the lobster bisque, fish pie and grilled scallops - no complaints what so ever. The location was perfect. Pros (+) Nothing.
Cons (-) Owned by thieves. You can't get to Maine because of Covid restrictions. They don't contact you about this and then take your money because you are not allowed to enter the State. Totally criminal behavior.

The location, being able to watch the Harbor activities from our room, and being in the center of town, made all the activities convenient. Coming the third week in September was perfect. The town was just slowing down for the summer, still good food, lots to do, but end of summer sales, and no lines, bo...
Cons (-) Can't think of much negative. Haven't been there in 10 years, and was sorry to hear that the Ebb Tide was sold. No peach short cake! The restaurant was still there, but NOTthe same.
