Pros: A very welcoming and helpful owner - nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast was great - lots of choice of cooked breakfast and/or cereals/pastries/fruit and yogurt. Everywhere was spotlessly clean. We were very comfortable and our room was quiet.
Cons: Nothing could have been better. We arrived in Bournemouth by train then asked at the bus-stops outside the station how to get to Boscombe and quickly found and got on a regular service to Boscombe. The hotel was in a good location there between the main shopping area and the beach and near Boscombe Gardens.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: This is my 3rd time of staying here and it won't be the last. Nothing is too much trouble. I have stayed in 3 different rooms, all of them were comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very tasty with fresh fruits like blueberries, raspberries, and mango available. This is followed by a lovely freshly cooked full English, or less, whatever you want and a pot of tea. Parking is available free on the drive, first come first served. Sue is an excellent host and I can't wait to stay again.
Cons: Everything was good
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Sue (who I assume was the owner) was absolutely lovely. Couldn’t have been more helpful to me as I was running the Bournemouth half marathon. I never expected to be able to come back for a shower after I had done the race but she offered this to me and I was so grateful. I will definitely stay here again. Thank you
Cons: The bedside lamp didn’t work but that was a minor thing which didn’t impact my stay. The only down side was the couple in the room next to me who “lets just say we’re having their own little marathon for most of the evening” and was quite vocal. Maybe if I wasn’t having such an early night the tv would have drowned out the noise. But this is nothing to do with the hotel so I can’t fault them. Luckily I did have some ear plugs which helped
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel was lovely, very welcoming staff!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast was very good, and rooms comfortable.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The best welcome we have ever had, we arrived early but that wasn’t a problem. Nothing was too much trouble, extremely helpful and kind to us. Our room was spacious and light with complementary toiletries and spotlessly clean, as were all the communal areas too. Breakfast was excellent with so much choice of fresh fruit, yogurts, cereals and full English was beautifully cooked. We will definitely return here.
Cons: Nothing not to like.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Everything is perfect, the hoste, the room, the location and the breakfast all perfect
Cons: There is nothing to dislike.
Excellent 10.0

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Great staff, location nearby beach and restaurants, clean room with fresh flowers and comfy bed.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hosts were very welcoming. The decorations were inviting. Quiet street with adequate free parking. Happy friendly vibe. Definitely will be staying again.
Cons: No decaf coffee or tea in the rooms. Fortunately I had brought my own.

Pros: Beautiful looking old farm house Fabulous bedrooms Delicious breakfast Very friendly owners
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was very clean and spacious. Lovely facilities, great and welcoming owner making sure we have everything we need. We went for a wedding less than 10 minutes drive and it was very convenient. The owner even had taxi tel no handy for us. He made sure we had everything. He’s having some new windows fitted this week which will make the place even more attractive and which shows he really cares about his business. We will definitely want to come back again and fully recommend.
Cons: The locqtion, it is next to the Airport but you can’t hear the planes. Because it’s a farm house it’s a bit remote which is great if you wish to chill. :)

Pros: The hotel was well run and could not be faulted. The host was very helpful when i arrived and on leaving.
Cons: No issues
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Very good location, used as base for Bournemouth marathon, and was right between start and finish areas, and 10 to 15 mins walk for coast, shops and restaurants. Tasty breakfast made to order and comfortable rooms.
Cons: Nothing bad unless been very picky. Ie limited breakfast menu, but probably what you would expect from b+b.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Beautifully renovated hotel, room was spotless and bed was very comfortable. Unfortunately we had to check out early so we missed breakfast, but we hope to try it on a future stay.

Pros: Breakfast was great. Also really good to see vegetarians and vegans are being well catered for. The staff were really nice, friendly and helpful. Also wasn’t expecting the rooms to be so large. All in all a great experience and wouldn’t mind staying again! Location is great as well very easy access into central Bournemouth.
Cons: Beds could have been a little bit softer. But still had a great nights sleep.
Excellent 9.0

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The owners were young,happy,healpfull,
Cons: The rain when we started for home
Okay 4.6
Pros: Friendly staff.
Cons: The smell of old age. All furniture is old. There was a cockroach or similar insect in the room. The double bed is too small. The price is too high for such accommodation and I expected more from the such high rating. In my opinion the breakfast was OK but wan't super good like booking said.

Excellent 8.3
Pros: Good location
Cons: Room was more suited to single occupancy than as a double.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Location was excellent for what i needed at a reasonable price. Very clean and comfortable and lovely breakfast
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Extremely friendly staff, I received a very warm welcome. My single-room was very small but well equipped with everything I needed. The cooked breakfast was excellent. Good value for money. Many shops within walking distance.
Cons: If you arrive in the evening parking you car might be a challenge.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast very good, location ok, loved Chaplins!
Cons: The walk up Sea Lane.
Mediocre 3.8
Cons: BED BUGS in the room!!!!! We were allocated room 9. After coming back from dinner, when we open our room door we could see lots of Bed Bugs laying around everywhere. Towels, bed, carpet etc etc. They where even in the corridor outside. I cannot emphasize enough how problematic this can be. Stay away from this place until this has been sorted!!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We was greeted with a warm welcome.
Cons: The room was lovely and clean so was the shared bathroom. The bed was very comfortable. The selection for breakfast was absolutely fantastic. We will definitely book to go back there in the very near future.

Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Clean, comfortable and close to the town and station. Lovely staff who let me check in early on the Saturday as I was attending a wedding. Would highly recommend and will stay again if I'm in the area.
Okay 5.8
Pros: The breakfast was excellent.
Cons: The en-suite shower was small. The hot water took quite a while to reach the shower and sink. The clothes hanging space was not easy to reach. I didn't realise that the guest house was on such a main road and as such the room was noisy.
Good 7.5
Pros: Nice comfortable room, breakfast was excellent.
Cons: Traffic noise, as the property fronts a major A road.
Good 7.0
Pros: The bed was very comfy
Cons: The tiled floor was a bit cold. Only one wardrobe was available as the others were locked.
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: breakfast was good
Cons: 2am a couple and friends came in and were extremely loud until 2.20. Then 1 couple went upstairs they were shouting screaming bouncing up and down until 330. I had to be up at 630, the walls don't seem to have any insulation in them. Would not recommend staying here
Excellent 8.8

Excellent 10.0
Pros: An interesting Hotel with the Railway theme, very welcoming, comfortable and smart rooms and very accommodating.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff were a bit thin on the ground but one lady seemed to be running front of house single handedly. She was brilliant juggling it all and still stayed polite and friendly throughout with everyone. Good value for money - well situated for exploring the area - plenty of parking - good sized clean room - good food and breakfast - very friendly staff. Also it has four dog friendly rooms which isn’t really apparent from the booking app but you can book direct with the pub.
Cons: It is set back from the road but there is quite a main road to the side which you can’t see from the pub but we slept with our window open and the noise was minimal and it didn’t bother us at all.
Mediocre 2.5
Pros: It is a pub which use to be a train station.
Cons: The property is located somewhere near the airport however is nearly impossible to find it as the GPS (including the phone one) isn’t able to locate it. We drove around the same area for over 1 h and the staff wasn’t helpful at all when I called to ask for help. The sink in the bathroom was blocked. I was promised that someone would have fixed it but none did. I’ve ordered a travel cot when I’ve booked and there was no travel cot in the room when I got there at 23. My husband asked at the reception and he was told that they don’t have it. I’ve finally call the emergency number (as at night the reception shuts) and a lady brought me a dusty travel cot. My baby ended up sleeping in bed with us. The service at breakfast time is very poor as well. If you are looking for somewhere to relax definitely go somewhere else.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: A box by the main door to drop the room keys if we ate leaving very early to the airport. The facility of an elevator would make the place more accessible.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely comfortable rooms very close to Bournemouth airport
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Good food on site and nice sized room
Cons: A bit tricky to find initially but ok once located
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Staff were outstanding and made the stay very enjoyable. Room was well equipped and very comfortable.
Cons: Some noise could be heard from adjacent rooms and possibly had a smoker in the room previously.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Nice atmosphere, friendly staff and good food. What more could you ask for.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: It was clean, quiet and very comfortable. Staff very helpful. Nice dinner and excellent breakfast.
Good 7.5
Pros: Location great, Pullman coaches alongside look great, & the pub, food & beer selection is great.. Room done out lovely- nice & homely... Be back again..
Cons: Everything was good..

Pros: Fridge in room
Cons: Stairs
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Good price, and breakfast was really good! Room was perfect, shower was absolutely fine, comfort beds and a good location to be in to reach certain points of Bournemouth. Staff were lovely and answered any questions we needed to know for Bournemouth.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: 20 minute walk to the beach which was ideal as you get to explore the town.
Good 7.9
Pros: Convenient and well priced Mattress needs replacing Some suss people around the neighbourhood Dissapointed I was approached outside by a beggar but maybe I'm not up to date with what a happening in UK
Excellent 10.0
Pros: I was so impressed by the cosiness and comfort of the room. Also, due to my specific dietary needs, I am unable to eat a typical breakfast but Chris was so delightful and made amazing meals for me both days. He was so kind and the food presentation was top notch! I am so grateful. The hotel is also within walking distance to the train station, some food places, an Asda and the city centre. I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay!
Cons: I couldn't get the TV to work the first night but this was totally insignificant. I simply watched tv on my tablet.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Staff very friendly. Nice room.
Cons: Bit noisy with party goers coming home
Excellent 8.0
Pros: I didn't have the breakfast so can't comment. The room was fabulous with a sooperb shower. I was there because I ran the marathon on the Sunday and the shower was gorgeous after that run. No complaints.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very quite, clean, friendly, and very very kind and helpful Thank you
Excellent 8.8
Pros: The staff were enthusiastic, welcoming and friendly. Location wise, it was a minute or two from the station, perfect for my travel needs (about 10 minutes stroll to the town centre). There was also a small bar / restaurant downstairs that was very reasonably priced. I didn't get to try the food, but from what I saw come out this all looked very edible.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Location was perfect for walking into Bournemouth or Boscombe, very central. Near shops and places to eat. Very clean room, better than expected. Very friendly staff, allowed us an early check in and couldn't be more helpful - parking permit provided too.

Excellent 8.3
Pros: Very friendly hotel
Cons: It’s a shame they don’t do meals in the restaurant anymore.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Friendly welcome by the staff, the room was decorated in a shabby chic look and included a well stocked tea/coffee tray with bottled water. The hotel has character with varied exhibits of Lillie Langtry. Due to refurbishment of the hotel, breakfast was available in the sister hotel across the road. This was communicated to us by email on booking, so not a surprise. The breakfast choice was good, fruit / cereals etc. The hot options were excellent quality with veggie options available, all served in a sumptuously decorated room.
Cons: Unfortunately our room (6) had the smallest 'bathroom' I have ever come across, as we were only booked for the one night not a deal breaker!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We were upgraded to a suite, which was excellent. The breakfast was served at the Derby Manor across the road, since the Langtry kitchens were being renovated. The breakfast was excellent and the service outstanding. The bed was comfortable and the Jacuzzi relaxing. The Langtry Manor is well positioned a short walk from East Cliff itself and the town centre. Frequent busses.
Cons: They have stopped the themed evening meal with entertainment that we enjoyed back in 1999!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Very clean ,car parking
Cons: Would have been nice to have had a restaurant in the hotel ,some of the furniture in our room could have done with replacing
Good 6.7
Pros: Good location clean facilities. Quite a small room. Good warm shower.
Cons: Breakfast didn’t start until 08-00AM in the hotel across the road. I was not aware of this so although it was included in the rate I needed to leave before so missed out.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Staff very friendly.
Cons: Rather small bathroom.
Good 7.5
Pros: Our room however was very nice, traditional and romantic but a bit on the dated side. It was however a nice break away regardless
Cons: No evening meals not even bar food offered in the evening at this hotel which we were not expecting! It should be listed as bed and breakfast only!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Staff were very welcoming and helpful! Fantastic price for when I was visiting. The room was very comfortable and modern chique. It was nice to get back to a jacuzzi style bath after a long day.
Cons: No restaurant facilities in house.
Okay 4.6
Pros: History of the property Staff helpful
Cons: Property in need of updating. Room okay, furniture all marked and scratched Room smelt damp Ensuite extremely small, sink so tiny. Disappointed with stay as property could be so much more.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Polite greeting. Well maintained. Hotel & room were so much nicer than expected. Adore the old fashioned nature and history of the place.
Cons: Would’ve liked to have had a drink in the bar after 10pm Sunday.

Pros: The breakfast was nice and the bed was great. There were no problems parking and it was an easy walk down to the beach for some fresh air.
Cons: The service was very poor. It took a long time to get checked in and while the chap calling me "bud" was perfectly polite, I was waiting around like a lemon for ages. This was repeated at dinner time and in the end I left to go to the local thai as it was taking so long to even get a menu. The room was also unspeakably hot and this was on the really windy and cold day just after the heatwave - there was an a/c machine which made lying on the bed tolerable but if you got up it was awful.
Good 7.5
Pros: Very nice feel about the hotel / bar / restaurant; relaxed and inviting. Room was quiet even though busy restaurant / bar below. Most staff really cheery and helpful. Clean modern bathroom with bath and shower combo.
Cons: Minor irritations were the Wi-Fi and TV signal. Difficulty logging on to what seemed to be an non-secure public network and TV signal froze a couple of times.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Staff are exceptional, make you feel very welcome and nothing is to much trouble. Our room was very pleasant, nice decor, tea/coffee facilities, clean and had a comfy bed. Quite limited menu in however what they offered was cooked and presented well and reasonably priced. They make a mean Snicket's sling (cocktail) and have nice selection of beers, ales and gins etc. The whole team are great, work really hard and make you feel relaxed. I highly recommend staying here!
Cons: Could do with more on-site parking spaces as 12 bedroom B&B but only 6 parking spaces and these are not exclusively reserved for hotel guests, they can be used by all patrons so if your not lucky it's on street parking. However, they are based in built up residential area so guess not possible to expand. My only other slight quibble is that we were not aware our room was right above the kitchen fans (room 6). These were switched on about 07.30 and switched off about 22.30 and were quite noisy. We just kept our windows closed and room had air con if we felt getting to warm.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very friendly staff and a very pleasant atmosphere, I had to leave early and travel home at 11pm and drive through the night back to Glasgow ....Callum and Lauren where marvellous and gave me a flask off coffee and a couple of biscuits for the journey ,people like that make a difference and that’s what makes you return in future
Cons: I stayed in a single room and I’m 6ft 3in i found the shower slightly difficult to get out of and the space round the hand basin was a little restrictive but I wouldn’t let it stop me going back
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff and location
Cons: Tv wasn’t working properly
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very welcoming staff, lovely rooms, great location , good price
Cons: In the room there was a lot of dust and spider webs , I understand it’s difficult to keep everything spotless during the busy time but it puts a little bit off when you find everything dusty.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Excellent bar/lounge restaurant. Great food and cocktails. Breakfast was super and they even threw it in for free which was an unexpected bonus. Nice location in a great walking area close to the beach. They have limited parking but if you can get it there are 4 spots right out front.
Cons: Room was small with short ceilings and tight corners. Getting to room was a bit of a maze of staircases. Found it a little hard as we had luggage with us. Best if you are packed light. Overall still a great experience.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: I love room number 10, it’s my favourite, quaint and small but it’s perfect and has everything you need. The staff are friendly and always happy to go the extra mile and it makes a big difference to your stay. All of the team are very personable, so it makes your stay very relaxing.
Cons: Only comment is that the small fan in my room was packed with dust but a member of the team took it and cleaned immediately. Also - could you bring back the coffee sachets in the rooms for the bodums and the green and blacks chocolate.

Pros: Close to the sea Great view Friendly stuff and very warm welcome Delicious breakfast Hotel is clean an cozy
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Comfortable, warm room. Short walk to seafront.
Cons: Do prefer a hotel that doesn’t allow pets, but we knew that at the time of booking.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: We loved our stay, facilities adequate, room a bit dated but we don’t mind that. Staff really lovely and great breakfast. Fab location for the 02 academy. Would stay again
Excellent 9.6
Pros: indoor space is in a true English style, cleanliness, friendly staff, breakfast was not bad
Cons: everything was fine
Good 7.9
Pros: Unfortunately breakfast was not early enough for us as we needed to get to parkrun and half marathon However staff were really nice and friendly and packed a take out breakfast for us.
Cons: It could have been cleaner behind units and radiators. Also shower was scalding and could not be altered.
Good 6.3
Pros: The staff were great and really helpful. The hotel was not up to the standard we expected though and the cleanliness wasn’t great. I would say I was disappointed
Cons: Mould in the bathroom. Just quite unclean
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The Denewood is a traditional British hotel with large rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff. The hotel is located on the crossroads 5 minutes from the beach and pier downhill and 5/6 minutes uphill to town. Off road parking is also a massive plus.
Cons: I'm struggling but I did leave 1 constructive feedback which was to use 2 teabags in the "pot of tea for 2" at breakfast. No other issues.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We couldn´t complain about anything.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very nice staff it’s basic but organised and clean
Cons: For the money it’s good value so can not dislike anything
Excellent 9.6

Excellent 9.0
Pros: Room comfy Staff very helpful Food excellent
Excellent 10.0
Pros: A great bed and breakfast set aside from the main pub, clean, tidy and larger than average rooms. Breakfast in the morning is taken in the pub with a superb variety on offer. A nice little touch in the room on the tea tray was a bottle of Fullers London Pride which as always was delicious after a hard drive.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Pleasantly surprised everything was good, rooms were clean everything worked , staff were helpful . I would definitely recommend it

Excellent 9.6
Pros: I enjoyed using the leisure facilities ,gym , steam room, swimming pool . Great room , comfy bed great shower and tv
Cons: We did not make use of the bar or restaurant facilities that Saturday evening as the members of the public who appeared to have hired the venue for their wedding were extremely load and hostile. This meant that we had to make a trip to the local supermarket to find something to eat that evening in the absence of any nearby restaurants. The buffet breakfast which was provided the next morning was poor. The scrambled egg smelt and tasted awful. Although the young lad / waiter was very apologetic and served us with our boiled egg alternative which was delicious. The coffee did not taste like coffee and rather than complain about this we settled for one a Starbucks.
Good 7.5
Pros: Clean comfortable rooms.
Cons: Unfortunately my bedroom was above the gym and all you could hear was the loud thumping of base and the instructors shouting. I had a chance for a later start in the morning but was woken by this at 6:30 am. I was not happy at all.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The burger in the cafe was superb. Bed very comfortable .
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very quiet location. Comfortable bed. Easy to use shower. Great breakfast.
Cons: Bathroom sink was not very clean, with hair in it and stains around plug hole.
Okay 5.8
Pros: Comfortable bed
Cons: Poor breakfast uncooked eggs grumpy breakfast staff booked late checkout but hounded by room service after normal check out time not all facilities working in the spa
Mediocre 2.0
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Hotel has a policy to overbook 3 rooms a day, so chances are you might be without a room like it happened to us. Avoid avoid avoid
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Check on was easy and the room was warm and comfortable, bed was good and will stay there again.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The reception manager was extremely helpful and compassionate toward to mother who had just had a stroke and was unable to stay with us at the hotel. He sorted out a refund for their room.
Cons: There was a wedding on and some of the wedding party were a bit noisy and you could hear the music till late. But to be honest its what you'd expect when a wedding was going on. It was a shame not to be able to use the pool at certain times with the kids but understand its nice to have adults only times.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Noise, Didn't realise it would be full of young people celebrating hen and stag weekends.
Good 7.9
Pros: We stayed here because my wife was doing the Bournemouth marathon and we needed to stay the night before due to an early start. It was pretty expensive for just 1 night with breakfast but needs must. The bed was brilliant and we slept really well. Breakfast was also good and the staff were friendly and efficient. There is a good gym and a swimming pool but this costs extra - bit cheesed off with this as we had paid £170 + for the room. Overall it was nice hotel but not worth over £170 for 1 night.
Cons: Not great value for money!
Good 7.1
Pros: I didn't have any pastries, No the bed & pillows were hard, without any soft option in my room.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Really nice hotel with great facilities. I didn't use the health club but it looked really nice. Great pub on site and the coffee shop was a real bonus. I would stay again for sure. It had a nice boutique feel to it without being quirky or too out there. I'd say it represents great value for money.
