Pros: We really enjoyed our overnight stay. The property was easy to find, the parking for the car was right at the door and check in was simple. The room was lovely and clean, the beds were comfortable with good quality bedding. The block out curtains meant we were able to get a nice sleep in in the morning. We opted to pay the extra for breakfast and I’m glad we did. The Full English was delicious and very generous in size. There was a great assortment of pastries & baked items for the Continental breakfast also. I highly recommend staying here.

Pros: The proprietors were lovely. The best part of staying there was they picked us up from the airport one day and drove us there the next for our flight out. Pros: Comfortable, efficient room conveniently located near the Gatwick airport in the neighboring town of Horley. Made-to-order breakfast was delicious. Hosts picked us up and delivered us back to Gatwick airport. The B&B is a 10 minute walk into Horley town with a variety of restaurants.

Pros: Everything was cozy and wonderful about this place. The host was very courteous. They even gave me one of the bigger rooms and it was probably the best bed i slept in since the beginning of my vacation. Breakfast was delicious.

Pros: What a beautiful little place! It seems like it’s far from the airport but it’s quite close! Maybe 5-8 min drive. They arrange a private taxi company which is way cheaper. The host was so lovely and kind. Fresh baked cookies in the room with water. The dinner menu was fabulous! Overall I would stay here again!

Pros: The Maple Manor Hotel was a beautiful structure that was well maintained. Our room was quite clean with a comfortable bed and a powerful shower. Staff was friendly and the continental breakfast included was free, which was good for a light snack in the morning. My husband and I stayed overnight once which meant we had free parking available. A taxi to Gatwick North Terminal was £8 one way (took approximately 10minutes to get there, if so much) which was cheap in comparison to Uber. We would definitely stay there again when we’re flying from Gatwick as it’s an affordable and comfortable room that’s near to the airport.

Cons: The room was on the smaller side but we were only staying overnight so it was fine for our needs. (Just letting readers know what to expect.) Our taxi which they ordered for 8 30am came at approximately 8 45/50am. We had put in the request when we checked in the previous day. While it may not have been at any fault of Maple Manor Hotel, it’s best to book your taxi a bit earlier than you plan to so you won’t be rushing about at the airport. (We we’re still on time for the flight.)

Pros: We arrived at 11.30pm after a cancelled Gatwick flight. The receptionist was welcoming and even helped take luggage upstairs. He was still present and smiling as we left at 6am the next morning. The hotel is just a 15 minute taxi drive from the North Terminal.

Pros: We were tired & exhausted from our early start to the day & they were quick to pick us up from Gatwick airport. We were also able to check in a little early. I had requested a first floor room & they explained the one they had ready for me but it was very small & would I like a bigger room (that was a little further away). I was not feeling well, but my partner who had lunch & dinner at the Corner House said the food was very good. I did have a continental breakfast the next morning & it was all good. We also took the shuttle back to the airport in a timely manner. All the people working there were friendly & helpful. If we come through again we'll be sure to start there.

Cons: the room was very hot, a little smelly and no soap - nothing that couldn't be fixed there and then I'm sure, but I arrived late and was very tired to inform the staff at the time.

Cons: upon check in I was advised that our room was up 2 flights of stairs, no lift, and no offer of assistance with our luggage! I am just turning 70 and my husband is 73 and has Parkinson's , with 4 suitcases to lug up the narrow stairs. I was not impressed, the phone lines were to working so I was unable to contact relatives of safe arrival, so no I was not impressed and would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

Pros: You don't have to leave as they cater for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Staff are very accommodating, meals are delicious, room was spacious and bed very comfortable. Lovely clean and tidy place. They also have a shuttle bus service to and from Gatwick Airport for a small fee. Was only here for 1 night so not sure what's around the area as I didn't go exploring. Would definitely stay here again.

Cons: Check in took 2 1/2 hours bc we requested 2 twin beds that were not ready when we arrived. Also the receptionist tried charging us twice for breakfast. Also the same receptionist wanted to charge my friend £10 for EACH hour she occupied the room past the checkout time, bc this is what they pay their chambermaid to stay late to clean the room after she leaves. Really? This is just bad business.

Cons: It took me three attempts to get an answer when I phoned from Gatwick to say we had landed, which was unsettling. Although I had stated we had one vegetarian in our group, there were no vegetarians options available for the breakfast apart from full English without the meat items - some vegetarian sausages would have been good. There was a sloping ceiling over the single bed which made for needing extra care when moving about.

Pros: The location was the best thing about this hotel if we had know that we was going to be put in one of the chalet rooms we wouldn't of booked here and to make matters worse the toilet seat was hanging off would not stay in this part of the hotel again

Pros: VERY convenient well run hotel if catching an early flight or arriving back late.The restaurants in the quadrangle are all good BUT VERY busy. However all was not lost we had a drink at an upstairs bar which was relaxed and chilled. Then the restaurant was available .

But have a drink at the upstairs bar having made a reservation at the restaurant we had abt a 40 minute wait but it was worth it...and not surprising when everyone staying there is looking for food at the same time!

When I reached the hotel, it was 5:40pm and could not check in right away as they ask for a penalty for earlier check in... I found that quite ridiculous. 2. The room was extremely small. I guess It was 200cmx200cm. I understand in a capsule hotel space is extremely limited, however the rate room was overpriced.

Pros: Perfect for grabbing some sleep before early flights out. The pods are very quiet and have the basics needed - good bed, TV and toilet/shower area. There's no real space on the floor so if you have lots of luggage it'd be a squeeze. The shops and restaurants of landside departures are a floor down so easy for picking up something to eat and drink (there is no fridge or drink making facilities but you and ask for tea or coffee at reception)

Cons: They are quite expensive - some of the surrounding hotels generally have cheaper rooms. You're paying for the convenience of being IN the airport departure lounge

Cons: Too warm - duvet was too heavy. Air conditi9ning was a little too loud. Basin plug couldn’t be closed; water drained away as I tried to wash and shave. Be prepared for tight dimensions.

Pros: Easy access from the terminal and late at night this was to be appreciated. Checking in was quick and the staff were efficient.

Cons: We had been put in a disability room but the bed was so close to the wall that any disabled person would have had major problems getting into the bed. The shower in the bathroom, (a walk in shower) was so powerful that the drain could not take the water away and this caused the carpet in the bedroom to become soaked. At breakfast the waiters spent more time talking with their friends than helping other guests perhaps some management action would be good. The toaster would not toast both sides and needed a good cleanout and when using the coffee machine I made two cups of cappuccino before I realised that the machine was only dispensing very watered down milk. I reported this to a member of staff but it took four other people making coffee before any action was taken. Breakfast on the whole was not a good experience. The icing on the cake was being charged £4.60 for two half litre bottles of water, I consider this to be a totally obscene charge for a litre of water.

Pros: The location is excellent, close to the terminal and transfer train and well signposted. The food on offer in the bar/eating area on arrival was not appealing and we settled for just a glass of wine and a cup of tea in the room. The breakfast provided was unremarkable but acceptable.

Pros: The location is perfect if you are travelling early from LGW North Terminal, you only need to go upstairs and walk through security. Beds are comfy and good bed linen. TV and coffee facilities in the room. The bathroom was clean and spacious shower room with shampoo, shower gel, etc. Quiet room, ideal to go to sleep quick. Breakfast was great, continental and hot breakfast from 6am, full English if you want. No fault at all.

Cons: We spent a night only in the hotel and wanted some dinner. Against the breakfast, dinner was very disappointing. I ordered a veggie burger, it arrived as a bun and a patty with a bit of sauce on it, that could have been much better if bought at Lidl. Some chips and a blob of coleslaw, for £13! I would not recommend dinner at all there. TV in the dining room was playing adverts of a streaming service on loop. It would have been nice to have the news or something else.

Pros: The location is perfect for access to North terminal and simple access to the South terminal by monorail shuttle. We only had a brief breakfast as we were booked into the airline lounge, but what we had was lovely and there was a great selection. Staff were friendly and helpful, but when we asked for directions to park our car in the long stay car park, they did not know this information, so it may be helpful for them to be provided with maps for any other visitors who may ask.

Pros: The room was amazingly spacious for an airport hotel. Beautifully comfortable beds and spotlessly clean bathroom. Couldn’t have asked for more! Staff were very attentive and friendly, especially the bar/restaurant.

Cons: Breakfast! Don't use cellophane wrap, makes the food sweat, nothing worse than wet soggy toast, plus single use plastic not good for the environment. Invest in metal plate covers and toast racks!. Don't put breakfast for two portions on one plate, we had to divide it up the egg and bacon ourselves in the room. Milk came in a bowl rather than a jug, made pouring quite challenging, ruining your carpet as half of it went on the floor! Very unappetising uncooked bacon fat around the rashers, scrambled egg sorry I can only describe as 'slop' and barely cooked tomatoes. Best thing on the plate was the beans and they presumable came out of a tin. Shame as our room was very clean and comfortable, but you are letting yourselves down with the breakfast.

Cons: Long queue at reception. Requesting a table for dinner was asked if we had a reservation as it was full, despite the fact that there were empty tables, albeit uncleared. Where else is one supposed to eat with a location far from any other restaurants. Very slow service with the hapless waitress speaking so little English that delivery of food bore little resemblance to what we had ordered. Early morning shuttle was inadequate for the number of passengers resulting in details. Not free but £4each way for a 5 minute ride. Not recommended

Despite the fact that we didn’t interact with the hosts in person as we arrived after check in had closed, the communication via booking.com and the notes they left meant everything was seamless in terms of entry and then the transfer to the airport in the morning. Complimentary taxi to the airport was a big factor in our booking. Tea and coffee facilities in the room which were helpful for the early start.

Cons: Nothing. It’s dated in terms of decor so some guests may not like that, same with the shared bathrooms. But that’s all advertised and you can’t complain for the price.

Pros: The reception staff are always really nice and in the mornings and it's always nice and calm in the restaurant for breakfast. They have a good range of breakfast food and a 24hr bar so there's always somewhere to go other than your room

Cons: The towles smelt like curry Which was off putting and house keeping were quite rude. The main issue is that there's nothing to do or anywhere to go in the area. You have to get a bus or taxi everywhere you go.

Pros: Was convenient for the airport.. food was good and staff v friendly and helpful

Cons: Difficulty understanding the staff over the phone. Did not have good reception on Wi-Fi in the room. There was a charge for shuttle pick up at the airport and drop off that was not indicated on the email notifications. There are no outlets near the bed.

Pros: The airport transfer was excellent. We called and they came ten minutes later. Breakfast was nice.

Cons: There was a big spider in the room and the window was open! There were no tioletries in the room except a qaurter of an inch in a soap dispenser. The tea cup was dirty. The knob on the radiator was snapped off. The whole hotel urgently needs refurbishment and was shabby throughout. It was very unclear what to do at breakfast and what you could have. Staff tried to help even though there was a language barrier.

Pros: The joyfull staff members, even at 3 am!

Pros: Good access to Gatwick airport using the hotel shuttle service.

Cons: Rather old fashioned decor.

Cons: The bathroom light didn’t work and there was no plug in the sink. The bed had a horrid noisy plastic cover over the mattress . The milk cartons were curdled. I’m not very impressed with the accommodation. It is ‘tired’ and in need of maintenance.

Pros: The lobby is shabby. The coffee was dreadful; the tea only passable, one of the drinking cups had lipstick on it. Not good

Pros: Cheap over night stay for early morning flight. Bed was clean and comfy. Bathroom was clean enough and functional. Really fast 4G connection on Three.

Cons: It is, as many people noted, a somewhat tired hotel. Not recommended for a romantic weekend break for example. You get what you pay for. Poor Wi-Fi.

Pros: Great front desk staff. Close location to the airport.

Cons: Three of us could not figure out how to work the shower. Instruction would have been helpful.

Pros: The breakfast was good. The lobby staff were helpful. The bar was spectacular.

Cons: The rooms did not have personal AC and all they had was a heater. There was one fan although there were multiple beds. All outlets were British standard 3-pin with no American-style outlets and therefore my colleagues and I were not able to charge our laptops and phones. I am allergic to gluten and although I asked the barrister and chef whether a certain sausage had flour and was told that it did not, the sausage clearly had a flour crust and dough inside and I got sick as a result.

Pros: The bar ws a full floor and was pretty nice. Bath room was a good size and seemed clean.

Cons: 4 pounds for the shuttle was a bit much but that has nothing to do with the hotel directly. Tried to find a quick way to walk to the airport but wasn't able to. It was pretty quite in the hotel but the traffic from the motor way was loud. Limited wifi in the hotel, so if wifi is important not the best place. Staff was friendly and the check in ws easy.

Cons: The room was very hot & the AC did not work at all. The front desk promised tp send up a fan. The fan never arrived.

Pros: Next to Gatwick

Cons: Dingy, mediocre staff, inadequate supplies (toilet paper was scarce), over priced mediocre food, thin walls

Cons: Dining room was closed and the whole hotel was in need of a makeover. It just felt rather tired.
