10.0 Excellent
Pros: Ballas exceeded our expectations, Rob and Anne were the perfect hosts and we felt so at home. The breakfast was definitely the highlight (we love our food), so much choice, cooked perfectly and tasted great! The room was fab and the bathroom super luxurious.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rob was so welcoming and was seriously interested in what you wanted to see and why you were travelling. I am a clean freak but this place tops anything I could do. They must dust 24/7 .
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved everything really. I arrived quite late but had a lovely welcome by Rob. I was straight away impressed by the very roomy en-suite bedroom. Super clean too! Sparkling clean shower room. The bed was like sleeping on clouds, really comfy. Great breakfast, and very accommodating with dietary requirements. I have gluten intolerance which I mentioned in my booking and they catered specially for me. They were very attentive during breakfast and nothing was too much to ask and you can see the horses from the dinning room window! Bonus... Rob was excellent serving a full of guests dinning room, and with a great Welsh sense of humour too. Liz cooked perfect poached eggs and the smoked salmon was yummy. And she took extra time to find directions to nearby places that they both very kindly recommended. She even had to rescue me out of the property... Flat car battery!!! Thanks Liz! They are the house owners and Liz has a passion for the business which shows. Very good value for money (single occupancy reduced). I definitely recommend it to everyone who pases by or wants to explore the area... and if I go that way again I will stay again for sure. One of the best guest accommodations I have ever been in... and I can compare it to 4 star hotels. Thank you both Rob and Liz for making my stay so pleasant and for being so lovely, and the lavender (from the garden) sachet that Liz gave me smells incredibly nice. Thank you again!
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location and quiet for a rest from a busy business day If the weather had been better I would have gone for a walk Breakfast was lovely and light and airy breakfast room Would have liked a small selection of greek natural and flavoured yoghurts, but otherwise really enjoyable start to the day.
Cons: Liked it all I'm very fussy about bed linen and I would have preferred a feather quilt and white linen, but otherwise all good and I slept well.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything about Ballas Farm was good. Very friendly hosts, enormous room and bathroom. Food excellent, everything we could want.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was Beautiful, plenty of it and lots of choices. Waiter service, very friendly people. And lovely and clean. Would recommend it to everyone.
Cons: The tv in our room no 1 could have been a little higher on the wall as when your lying in bed you have to kinda look down which gets uncomfortable.

Pros: Possibly the best Sunday lunch I’ve ever had.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms with high end finish but bed was a little firm. Great food and very friendly staff.
Cons: Fantastic service in a beautiful setting.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely blown away, cannot recommend Llanerch Vineyard highly enough. The accommodation was beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and the views were simply stunning. The receptionist could not of been more helpful and it was an overall fabulous stay. 10/10
10.0 Excellent
Pros: New accommodation (opened June 2019) in well appointed, peaceful location, with unobstructed view across beautiful open fields. Excellent bedding, spacious bathroom and a sense of luxury that made for a very enjoyable stay.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We stay here when visiting family & are always impressed as the setting is peaceful & interesting. The hotel extension is really smart; we loved the new reception area. Our room was huge & so comfortable with views over the vineyard & fields. The breakfast was delicious and as ever, the staff were very friendly. We can't rate our stay more highly.
Cons: We can't fault our stay.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location in a vineyard and close to the M4. A lovely setting with woodland walk as a bonus. Our room was clean and comfortable. I particularly liked the large white towels. A small fridge containing bottle water was a nice touch (but also great if you purchase wine for consumption during your stay I guess). Recommend you try the wine even if you do not partake on a wine tour. We attended a wedding party at the venue which was done very nicely.
Cons: Nothing to dislike about the property. We had a couple of issues with our room (toilet flushing and the coffee machine overflowed and provided a cold cup of coffee). Pillows could be less firm - we both realised we have stiff necks today using only one pillow. Otherwise the room was clean and comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing food and the suite rooms are beautiful, a tranquil location 3mins from the M4

Pros: Our room was very disappointed with our room. As it was in the attack hot small not clean. Carpet had staying. All very old and in nead of a revamp. Bed very uncomfortable very little sleep. Think if I had seen the room before booking it would never have started. All the best rooms we saw on line. Asked for another pillow was give a stayed flat one with no pillow case. Not good enough. Pros: Everything else. Great location with enough parking. Tony was very welcoming. The room was lovely. The breakfast good.
Cons: There were two minor issues. The bed was too soft for me, but that is always difficult in a hotel. Secondly, my room was on the side of the motorway. Nothing earplugs can't fix.
7.5 Good
Pros: Location was great. Nice to meet Tony but we were on a very tight schedule and it became a bit difficult to disengage, No offence meant we missed taking my grandson out as he had left by the time we got there after the delay on leaving. so sorry but true.

Great for nearby coast -- Ogmore and Southerndown Howard was very welcoming and friendly as host and was even prepared to overlook me losing my room key. Cons: The door was a bit tricky to lock! Nothing wrong with our stay though!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cannot rate Ewenny Farm Guest House highly enough, 10/10 doesn't do it justice. Howard the host was more than accommodating and allowed us to check in 3 hours early as we had a wedding to attend at 1PM. Our room was stunning and spotless, our bed was so comfortable and our breakfast was cooked freshly for us as we enjoyed our cereal, juice, toast, tea & coffee. Would definitely recommend to others and will be staying again, despite only living in The Mumbles ourselves. Thank you Howard.
Cons: Nothing - couldn't have been better.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and helpful with great food
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Bed was amazing and the linen on it was extra soft. The bath was lovely. It was just a really lovely little room
Cons: My room (8) was maybe a little too small for the big chair to be in and struggled to move it to manage to get to the only plug sockets in the room which was behind the chair and the desk. Couldn't charge my phone cos no plugs next to the bed.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff
Cons: Could have had a proper show instead of only a hand held one to sit in the bath with. Mattress. Rock hard. Not my usual cup of tea.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is beautifully decorated and staff were very friendly and helpful Rooms were clean and beds were very comfortable Breakfast was lovely
Cons: Cost high prices, I’ve stayed in hotels at the same star rating and above with lower prices No air con in rooms
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was great. Big portions and good choices. The only negative is that I think the scrambled eggs were made with powdered egg, a personal hate of mine. If they weren't, apologies but they were pretty bland. Location was stunning and I loved our room with the balcony (10). Staff were amazing, couldn't have been more helpful.
Cons: Some of the communal areas are really nice and some not so nice. The gym is really well equipped but the room doesn't need a carpet and it looks scruffy and unclean. Also, the machines are really old. Thankfully we could open the doors to our balcony as without air con, it could have got really hot, I thought.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was very comfy and the bar food was second to none.
Cons: Nothing to complain about
5.8 Okay
Pros: The bathroom was nice and light. Dinner was good, better standard than breakfast. Location very pleasant.

6.7 Good
Pros: The room was comfortable, and clean, the hospitality was good. The location was very scenic.
Cons: The meal was bland. I was offered a free desert or drink but I declined. The location was out in the sticks so I had no phone use. Only emergency. The room only had one tea bag. The next day no tea bags or milk. I did bring a couple of my own and had to ask for milk.

Pros: Most things
Cons: We had the 1 st night we 4 people drinking very noisy till 1.30 so we did not sleep well when I told manager she seemed put out as if I was making it up but it spoiled our 1 st day with not enough sleep The is I’m sure a cut off point at 12 pm for noise . She did say she spoke with couple 2 couples off there head

Cons: Nothing. Everything was very good and very friendly staff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The friendly and helpful staff
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rooms were quite small, but very clean and cosy. Place is quiet and minutes away in a car from Barry island if you fancy a walk in the evening. We were there mid week so no usual noise :) Breakfast was very well cooked to order, a shame there were no alternatives to cows milk for my morning coffee.
Cons: Dinner was very nice, but very very salty. All three dishes that we have ordered were too salty, to the point that I could not finish a really lovely pie.
8.8 Excellent
Cons: Booked on line only a double room available, requested a twin room if one became available. On the second night we were given another room as one had become available. Feel the staff went out of their way to accommodate us. Big thank you to the staff.
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely breakfast. Very quiet location. Friendly staff.
Cons: The evening meal I chose was not very good. However my husband had a good meal.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything at the Fox and Hounds is dog friendly ( not just dog accommodating). The staff are cheerful and helpful with a great local knowledge. They made the stay a pleasure. The food was wonderful and I only wish I could have tried more. I had something different at each meal without any issues. The value for money was also a great change from a large chain hotel. I will be recommending this establishment to many of my travelling friends.
Cons: The Fox and Hounds cannot be faulted but the ability to release the dogs in a green open area that is safe for the local farming community is difficult. I have two mastiffs and this was our only issue. We could not fault the Staff or Fox and Hounds.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was great...quiet and historic spot with a lovely old church next door. A must see if in the area.

5.4 Okay
Pros: Staff were courteous, professional and helpful.
Cons: Staff were lovely, very professional but our room smelt like a Tom cat had been marking its territory in there. I can still smell it now, wouldn't go back. Also not impressed that they served people in skimpy pyjamas in the bar, and trust me there was an awful lot of flesh on show. It wasn't a good sight.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Close to the airport and friendly staff. Crisps stored in the fridge and the Thunderbird maintenance trolly kept us amused :-)
Cons: A few things need regular dusting that are currently missed - such as the fire exit lamps in the corrodors
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent staff very helpful half the price of holiday inn Dublin
10.0 Excellent

10.0 Excellent
Pros: When I read reviews of this hotel I was a little anxious about the hot water supply. I need not have worried. it was good. The restaurant was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. It was a very comfortable and clean hotel. Would definitely go back.
Cons: nothing. I did find that the trophies for food awards was a little misleading as the chef who won them has since left and the new chef is not interested in going for awards, which is a shame as he would probably receive them. Food was very good.
6.3 Good
Pros: Presently comfortable.
Cons: Poor shower and only lukewarm water
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent value for money, nice quiet room with very little traffic noise. Food was equally good both dinner and breakfast
Cons: The room was a little tired but I understand plans are in place to upgrade the rooms, this did not detract from our stay
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The bed was comfortable.
Cons: The decor in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly people. Beautiful location.
Cons: Only thing we did not like was we only stayed one night! Would love to go back again.
7.5 Good
Pros: Food was excellent
Cons: Bedroom very very tired Bed& furniture were good but state of carpet was dreadful Terrible stains Needs changed Bathroom needed painted but shower screen at bottom was full of grime Needed to be taken off & washed These made the room feel tacky & let the hotel down
6.3 Good
Pros: The bed was comfy and clean, the bathroom was clean too. Cannot fault the service or the bar/ restaurant area!
Cons: This is just honest feedback! The double room was in a state, for example, the wallpaper was scuffed pretty bad, the carpet had massive black marks with a random blue rug positioned weirdly to undoubtedly hide further terrible stains, the bathroom is pretty dated ( although clean ) For what I paid, I just expected normal white painted walls and at least a stainless carpet. I love the bar area, the food and the atmosphere of The Great House - majorly let down with its double room! ( I can see some refurb has been completed to some rooms but not all) It needs a revamp ASAP or reduce your prices at least, it needs to be presentable especially for what I paid.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very professional and efficient. Room was excellent. Food was fantastic and so cheap. We would have paid double for the quality of food we had.
Cons: Nothing
5.0 Okay
Pros: The bed was comfortable
Cons: Part used toiletries were left in the bathroom. Cigarette buts were scattered outside the external door. The carpet was heavily stained. The interior of the lounge window was covered in fly marks. Breakfast was poorly cooked and the coffee was indifferently weak.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and the room beautiful, sumptuous and spotless
Cons: Nothing

Pros: absolute perfect location next to outlet stores and restaurants. easy to get to. excellent staff very friendly super efficient and knowledgable of area. loved the room. great sleep very quiet lovely room super clean. value for money. loved our stay so much have booked to stay at days inn at taunton tomorrow.
Cons: disappointed that as a long term multiple booking.com booker and genius customer which normally gives us free extension of time to leave through booking.com but when I asked if we could just have maybe half hour longer I was charged £10 which I had to pay immediately. my booking was through booking.com and disappointed with that action. I would like that refunded back as a gesture of goodwill
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff very friendly. Great for our dog with field behind and also access to common over motorway bridge.Big room with plenty of room for us and large dog.Allowed our friends to check in earlier.
Cons: Shower was hot but a little weak.Unable to hold water in sink.
7.9 Good
Pros: Continental breakfast was delivered to the room
Cons: A small point was the when having a shower there was no wall tray for the soap which had to be picked up from the floor each time.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very clean room and a comfy bed. Staff were helpful and pleasant. Getting to different locations was extremely easy. Fantastic value for money.
Cons: Could have done with a shower instead of shower over bath.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The lady put me in a different room at that was clean
Cons: There was bits of hair all over my bed like if someone have had a shave there the room smelled foul and the sofa had stains all over it the woman in the office made me change my own bed until there was big yellow stains on my quilt cover and I asked for a refund in the end they put me in a different room plus on the kne light work around the bed area
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large room. Good facilities for my dog - large field at back of inn.
Cons: Shower a bit weak
6.7 Good
Pros: We were not told about the breakfast facilities - we did notice a toaster in reception area but only saw this as we were leaving. I still don't know if we were allowed to use this nor at what cost. I need to find out if I am to stay at a Days Inn again.
Cons: As above
7.9 Good
Pros: Endless supply of coffee if needed. Replaced dodgy kettle too. No problem You get what you pay for. Basic but clean and towels and bedding perfectly good
Cons: We had a room above where people smoked so our room smelled of smoke. Staff provided some air freshener but not very effective.
4.2 Okay
Pros: The guy on reception when I checked in was helpful and courteous. Other than that, nothing positive to say
Cons: I will be writing formally to complain. The bed was truly horrible - impossible to sleep in. Within seconds of getting into bed, the whole of my side that was on the mattress became hot and very itchy. I turned over and same again. I ended up just curling up on the small sofa and trying to nap on that, but had to get up several times as so uncomfortable. All in all that was conclusively - and by a country mile - the worst night I have spent in any hotel ever - and I travel a lot on business.
6.0 Good
Pros: Towels were replaced, and cleaners made sure tea and milk were filled up as well as clean cups provided.
Cons: Curtain were stained, bed were not very stable (made a squeaky noise), mattresses were worn out

Pros: Very clean and lovely room was nice staff are very frendly and polite
5.8 Okay
Pros: .
Cons: Beds uncomfortable and not good to see the place single manned. Poor girl rushed off her feet
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: Only the proximity to Cardiff Airport.
Cons: My room was freezing cold. The bed was limp, with thin bed linen. I overlooked a car park or an off airport car park which was ugly and busy. I arrived too late for food and no ideas about how to get food. Left too early for breakfast with no sign of this continental breakfast box. There is no airport shuttle, just taxis. Very badly mislead by the description. I didn’t sleep much and will not be returning. Very over-priced.
6.7 Good
Pros: Fantastic meals & breakfast been before so knew what too expect and they didn't disappoint thanks!
Cons: Heating in room wasn't working had too ask for a heater!? No tea or coffee think the cleaner forgot as there was only sugar? Not enough staff the poor girl serving meals was rushed off her feet and done an outstanding job considering!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were very clean and comfy..eccelent shower and one of the best beds ive slept in. Staff were very friendly without being too informal Room 214 is a real nice room..will definitely stay again when next in the area..10/10
Cons: Cant fault anything
7.5 Good
Pros: the location was perfect for my needs, I was not expecting 5 star for the price was cheaper then other hotels in the area. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: The shower head was loose and would not stay at my height. there was a park and ride outside my window with buses going through the night. Mattress needed a comforter as you could feel the springs.
8.8 Excellent

Cons: Some noisy guests in the night but that can be expected anywhere you stay

6.3 Good
Pros: breakfast service was average food came quick but that was it! Breakfast time was funny as I've never seen old people move so fast, so don't get in the way of them near the cereal area !!
Cons: Property is dated but clean there is no internet in the rooms only in main reception area which is not much good when you have work to do. Breakfast service was very limited and so was the breakfast, no service staff to see if you wanted any thing extra as one small pot of coffee is a bit mean for what you pay
