The overall atmosphere & uniqueness of the place ... absolutely gorgeous.
It was too hot in the basement. It's cute but needs air-conditioning. The items on sale in the room were far too expensive. Get water from the bar or from somewhere else.
Extremely large, comfortable, beautifully furnished room - with fold-away bunk beds, sleeping up to six; very good bar and restaurant; really friendly and helpful staff.
I arrived and had 20 minutes to rush to a business dinner. First you have to walk 3 flights of stairs with your luggage, no one will offer to help you and its super narrow. The room was super stuffy and hot, no AC, the window only opens for a tiny slot. They had a fan there which was clearly broken (crazy noises) Then, the shower was BOILING hot. If I had not tested the water with my hand first I could have seriously burned my skin. I tried everything but couldnt get it to mix in cool water - both lines were hot. I called reception 3 times and no one picked up so I had to wash my hair in the tiniest sink I have ever seen and go to the business dinner without a shower. When I told the staff they said "no problem".... Seriously? When I came back in the evening they said they could not fix my shower - and gave me the key to the room next door which was much bigger (same amount of hot, fan also broken) - If they had this room available, why put me in their tiniest room with broken shower in the first place. The worst of it was there was no apology or discount. Seriously, this is not worth the money you pay. It is a run-down BnB pretending to be cool.
location great, staff extremely helpful, bed and linens very comfortable. didnt have breakfast
the floor of the room was dirty, dust balls behind the bedside tables which need to be pulled out in order to reach power outlet.
