Beautiful location and lodge. Our room was comfortable, but was kind of dirty. There were cobwebs that were visible in many places and there were bugs in the room.

Pros (+) Loved the continental breakfast and the grounds were great. Easy walking/running distance from the beach and made you feel like you were in the forest near the ocean. The fireplace with the Duraflame log was a nice touch to the very large room we stayed in.
Cons (-) The hotel room was a bit older and showed its age. But the hotel room was clean otherwise and very comfortable.

Pros (+) Nice suite. Loved the bed. One of the more comfortable beds I’ve ever had at a hotel. Loved the patio but hated the chairs they provided. Too uncomfortable to sit in. It felt like you were almost laying down.
Cons (-) Change the patio chairs pronto

Pros (+) The property has beautiful grounds. We stayed in what looks to be the newer cottages and was nice, spacious, and more private than the rooms in the larger building. The breakfast was great - lots of options!
Cons (-) The space and layout of the breakfast was cramped. Having the food serving area in a walkway doesn't work, especially for the number of guests having breakfast.

Pros (+) Roomn, gardens, dining
Cons (-) Staff in lobby were not that helpful and not courteous. Dining staff were excellent. You need to have a gift shop where incidentals can be purchased along with souvenirs.

Pros (+) Cabin-like rooms/setting Spaciousness of property Light show at holiday time Breakfasts
Cons (-) Key negative: WIFI generally not there, both in the room and even in the lobby Mattress was generally good - a little lumpy
