Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely guest house, very clean, great location. We overslept and missed breakfast but was offered pastries and cereal. Friendly staff. Lovely cafe across the road called Stir. Would definitely stay again there again.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Guido was the perfect host. Super friendly, helpful and welcoming. The room was beautifully decorated, with lots of nice little touches. Breakfast was very good. We will definitely come back!!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was absolutely spotless and very well decorated. The little touches of dressing gown and slippers, emergency supplies and plenty of toiletries was fabulous. The hosts were very friendly and entertaining but not overpowering at all. Oscar, the dog, who was brought through to meet us (not normally in the guest area) was such a legend! Breakfast was plentiful and so well cooked- a large selection of all types of things to eat and drink. Great location- not too far from town at all and a lovely walk past the river and park to get there. Would stay again and will definitely recommend to others visiting Cambridge.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Breakfast extraordinary. Location quite good. The owner (Guido) very nice and always ready to help the guest.
Cons: Nothing.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Very warm welcome. Excellent breakfast. Highly recommended.
Cons: Quite a walk to get to the city centre. Take sensible walking shoes!
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Owner was very thoughtful throughout the whole stay and took immediate action to answer every question and fix internet connection which wasn't working at the beginning. Despite guests not speaking English, they always did their best to communicate with them so they could make the best of their stay.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Friendly hosts, spotless and comfortable room. Excellent breakfast
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The host, Guido, could not have been more accommodating or helpful. He was brilliant. Allowing us to arrive early, leave late and store my bike in the courtyard, making us feel very welcome and comfortable. The rooms were immaculately kept and decorated to a high standard. The kids thought the beds were HUGE too. Highly recommended.
Cons: Nothing. It was a quaint B&B in Cambridge done to perfection.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The property was clean, organised and showed much thought about what guests would need during a stay and it was both easy to get to and only a short distance to the city centre. The hosts were helpful and happy to help with any issues or give local advice without being overbearing. We will definitely stay again.
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Guido and Maria were excellent hosts. Breakfast was excellent as was the service. The room and facilities were first rate and the property exceeded our expectations. We would recommend Worth House to any visitor to Cambridge. Of the many places we have stayed at over the last 4 weeks this is easily the best!!
Cons: There was nothing that Guido and Maria could do better!!!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Pleasing decor and standard of accomodation. Excellent customer care.
Cons: None

Excellent 9.6
Pros: Brilliant B&B super clean and comfortable. Al has thought of everything [and a little bit more] to ensure a great stay. Breakfast amazing you miss out if you don't have it a great start to the day. Local map and bus route was very helpful and Al explained everything to us and very informative on local attractions. Loved our stay in Cambridge if I return will stay at Autumn House it is best B&B I have ever stayed in and beats a lot of Hotels. Thank you Al
Cons: What's not to like!!!! Liked it all
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Attention to details. The property is exceptionally well managed and spotlessly clean. The breakfast was delicious too.
Cons: there was nothing we did not like
Excellent 10.0
Pros: GREAT RECEPTION ON ARRIVAL. WE WERE MADE TO FEEL WELCOME. BREAKFAST WAS SUPERB. AL AND STAFF ACCOMODATING AND NOTHING TOO MUCH TO FOR FILL, WOULD DEFINITELY RETURN.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Autumn House was a great B&B. Immaculately clean and very comfortable. Host was really friendly and responsive to all communication. Excellent facilities with all necessary amenities provided. Location was a little far from the city centre but easily connected via the bus, which was just 4 minutes walk away. Host has clearly put a lot of thought into the lay-out of the rooms and into the amenities provided. Would definitely stay again if we are in the Cambridge area.
Cons: We stayed in the front room overlooking the main road and it could get a little noisy as the cars on the road could be heard and we had the window open. Still not enough to deter me from staying at the B&B again though.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very nice owner ! excellent breakfast ! good bed with a very nice on suite bathroom. with parking facilities! In all a very good stay in this bed and breakfast !!!
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The whole place is very clean and modern and the facilities are excellent. We would definitely stay again without hesitation.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location for work, only took a 10 minute drive. Nice and warm welcome from Al who is a great host, B&B is lovely and the facilities are spot on.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Perfect location. Just a short ride into town or a beautiful 45 minute walk along the river. Lovely room and extremely clean. Breakfast was great and Al and his wife were very welcoming and helpful. Great map provided of Cambridge city centre. Fabulous recommendations of places to eat and drink. Would highly recommend and use again
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Well presented, clean, great amenities, wanted for nothing, there was clearly a lot of thought out into what the customer would want, the food was excellent, the staff were very friendly and extremely helpful, free parking, free WiFi, bus stop just down the road with a bus straight into the city centre, there was nothing to fault with our stay. We know where we will be staying from now on when we return to Cambridge.
Cons: There was nothing to fault.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We were met at the front door by Al, the owner who welcomed us in and explained everything we needed to know about the property and also gave us a map of Cambridge with bus routes and time tables included. Our room was just right for what we needed. Comfortable bed, plenty of tea, coffee, water etc. We had a spacious shower room with complimentary toiletries which was great as I'd forgotten to pack mine! Breakfast options were varied and freshly prepared to order by Al. It was delicious. A unique thing about this b&b is that the owner also provides a fully equipped kitchen with a comfy sofa, tv and all the necessary bits and bob's to cook and eat a meal, so if you don't fancy going out, you don't have to sit in your bedroom. It's a brilliant asset and one we made use off. We will definitely stay at Autumn House again.
Cons: The house is situated on a busy road so there is quite a lot of traffic noise, but the upside of the road is the regular bus service!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellend bedding. Helpful staff. Thanks again to the gentlemen who brought me, on request, tooth brush and tooth paste (which I had forgotten to pack).
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Very comfy beds and staff were excellent. Great location.
Cons: Could do with double glazed windows as traffic quite noisy. Breakfast was lovely but all items were spread around two rooms.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The bed was extremely comfortable
Cons: The wet room/shower flooded most of the bathroom
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The staff were excellent
Cons: Nothing
Excellent 9.0
Cons: Friendly efficient staff who really cared about us enjoying our stay. Also ride in the 1960 Bentley was very special.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great & super friendly staff & great hotel
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The staff were excellent, very helpful and friendly, we could not have expected more. The location and facilities were great. Some of the food was excellent, but not all. We were disappointed with one of our evening meals, but the staff were excellent with how they managed it when we pointed this out.
Cons: For breakfast we both had the avocado poached eggs, there was a very unpleasant taste of the avocado, we did not mention this at the time, as it was at the end of breakfast time.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Lovely hotel - the garden was beautiful especially at night with all the lights - wished we had stayed in the summer
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Lovely treat for our 10 year anniversary, the hotel went above and beyond to make us welcome and comfortable.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: I loved the atmosphere, it was so relaxing and all the staff were super friendly and always happy to help. It made my partners birthday a very special one.
Cons: I liked everything!

Excellent 10.0
Pros: all was fine
Cons: the heating device was not working the first night, afterwards it was fine
Excellent 9.2
Pros: The hotel was clean, chic and sophisticated. Room was comfortable. But don’t forget ur key or you will get trapped in the lift
Cons: The shower pressure wasn’t very good u
Excellent 8.2
Pros: Room very comfortable, clean and cosy. Bathroom also very clean and stylish. Staff downstairs at reception, entrance and door very helpful and welcoming. Location near station very convenient for this visit. Room very quiet.
Cons: Breakfast seemed overpriced. Would have preferred hot buffet with more choice.
Excellent 9.0
Pros: Very good breakfast with both healthy and traditional English options available. Good teas and coffee served, Very comfortable and quiet rooms with great décor and wet-room. Nice to have traditional china tea-pot and cups/saucers in the room. Good gym facilities and hotel staff were very friendly and efficient.
Cons: Lifts were a little temperamental on the last day of our stay.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We booked at a great price. Really comfy beds and good showers. Breakfast very good. Modern and safe. Good location.
Cons: Don't order a decaf coffee before bed though. You will get a full caffeine one! Good job the bed was good.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Every detail was thought of with this hotel, I was extremely impressed with the hospitality including the swift room service, the facilities on offer and the cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional. Very pleased with the stay have recommended to people already.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The hotel is in a perfect location, almost directly opposite the train station, and the rooms were really luxurious. The beds were super comfortable with a choice of pillows, and there were lots of lovely details around the room. The hotel bar is well stocked and reasonably priced, and breakfast in the morning was brilliant with a huge selection of meats, pastries, fruits, and hot food.
Excellent 8.2
Pros: The room was very nice, the shower was amazing and the decor in the room was premium. The staff at the front desk were helpful, attentive and personable. The building is beautiful and the restaurant is luxurious. The toilets in the lobby are amazing.
Cons: For the price you pay I expected that breakfast would have been included. The in-room entertainment was a little lackluster.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Convenient location, clean rooms, helpful friendly staff, hotel restaurant was good!
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The place is just beautiful! We may even return to see if our experience can be a bit better next time
Cons: We overheard that the new staff member messed up our bill and no one came to inform us of the wait we experienced, he also got our drinks wrong because he didn't know the menu
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Excellent breakfast; would be good to have a choice of artisan bread rather than simply sliced.
Cons: The evening meals can be unpredictable. I'd like a more varied menu with some simpler more traditional main courses. The starters and desserts are good and imaginative but one main course we had to return to the kitchen on a previous visit.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: the hotel still feels fresh and new. The rooms are nicely put together with enormous, comfortable beds and great sound-proofing. The hotel is right by the station so don't expect a view, but do a expect a great nights sleep!

Excellent 8.3
Pros: Very nice lady runs the place. Makes one feel at home.
Okay 5.8
Pros: The owner was helpful.
Cons: The bedroom had a few cobwebs. I don’t mind this but others might. The bath was out of use. I felt it would have been helpful to provide a bath plug. In general Cambridge B&Bs seem overpriced and rest on the fact that Cambridge is a wealthy city and therefore everyone visiting is comfortable with high prices.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Good breakfast, reasonably priced for Cambridge, nice hosts, near a leisure park, not too far out of city centre, parking available on site.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The people running the property could not be better.
Cons: The location is a bit far out of town. However there is a bus that runs regularly to town 100 meters down the road.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Excellent breakfast. Location on a busy road. Approaching from the Halls Road, the postcode comes up about half a mile early on my car satnav which was odd but we just kept going until we spotted the Alington House sign. Wonderfully friendly welcome. Spotlessly clean. Very quiet behind modern double glazing. Bathroom (in the disabled room) immaculately fitted out.
Cons: Just a very minor point - we were in a downstairs room facing the road, and it didn't have net curtains so we couldn't stay in bed with our morning cuppa and have the curtains open!
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Small, but convenient and very friendly.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: We stay here every time we come to visit my son who lives in Cambridge. It’s a handy location, the hosts are attentive and the rooms are very clean. The water was hot and the shower powerful. A cooked breakfast is available and cooked to order and a wide selection of cereals, fruit and breads.
Cons: There is nothing I didn’t like about my stay.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: The hosts were very friendly! Let me keep my car parked there even after we had checked out so that I could attend an interview. The breakfast really was excellent. Great value for money.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: The hosts Elizabeth and Bob were very friendly and accomodating, nothing was to much trouble. The breakfast was well cooked and plentiful with great choices. Cannot fault anything about the Alington.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly and nothing no trouble, would visit again if in the area. Really kind to let me park while i did some more visiting on my last day, even though i had handed in my keys.

Excellent 8.3
Pros: Easy walking distance to old city and railway station rigth around corner.
Cons: Parking must be organized outside yourself. No proper instruction given by check-in.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Excellent location, and the room was spacious enough and comfortable for use both. The breakfast was great too, which to be honest I didn't expect as I had read some reviews which stated that it would be quite poor (luckily not true!)
Cons: The price for drinks in the downstairs bar/cafe was very high. Not sure if this is strictly owned by the hotel though?
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Great staff. Quiet rooms even though it was very close to the busy train station
Cons: Finding hairs (that weren't mine) on the towels
Good 7.5
Pros: Quiet and comfortable
Cons: Poor menu in cafe
Good 7.5
Pros: Rooms are clean and staff are very polite and helpful. In general IBIS has a good reputation
Cons: There were no face towels available so i had to ask for extra bath towels and the bathroom does not have a door lock which i finx uncomfortable. The lounge was pretty small and very crowded in evening with diners and visitors booking in all in the same area
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast not included in room rate
Cons: Include breakfast in room rate
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Comfy bed, good shower
Cons: Towels small, thin and only one each.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: Nice atmosphere in teh hotel
Cons: Bed wasn't very comfortable (to soft)
Okay 5.0
Pros: Good breakfast
Cons: Cleaniness Small room and small bathroom No amenities

Pros: Clean and modern room, nice common space
Cons: The bed could be double and more comfortable. The number of corridors and locked doors is confusing
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Staff were very positive and friendly.
Cons: Nothing. All round excellent.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Clean bathrooms, wonderful facilities, and lovely staff. Location is great.
Cons: Paper thin walls, lots of noisy guests. The doors were EXTREMELY challenging to open. You need to go to the gym to keep it open for 2 seconds for the next person, and therefore are super loud when closing.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Nice staff, warm environment and great great bed which make me sleep well.
Cons: Toilet is a little as small as the one on the plane. But it’s acceptable.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Very friendly and helpful staff Water available for free 24/7 check in Really loved the designated baggage room
Cons: It’s not accessible for handicapped There is a lot of stairs
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great common areas, polite and professional staff, and convenient location.
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.9
Pros: There were a lot of facilities you can make use of: 24/7 pizza, game room, television, good tips for activities.
Cons: Plain room with only a bed, closet and washing table, but it’s okay as the price is not high.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Was as expected
Cons: Was as expected
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Considering it is a hostel it is very comfortable, one of the best ones I have been to. The breakfast (offered for an additional price) is comprehensive and included enough vegetarian options.
Cons: The only downside was the showers that sometimes were tiny and did not have anywhere I could hang my towel in which it would not get wet. I found that the shower a floor below from the one I was staying was actually much better and used it on the other days I was there. Otherwise no complaints. Staff is friendly and welcoming and I'd stay there again.
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Lovely staff and rooms
Cons: No sink in shower room difficult to brush teeth without disturbing others sleeping (if use sink in bedroom).

Okay 5.4
Cons: Probably the most cramped rooom I ever slept in. The breakfeast was a minimal effort and very low cost exercise
Good 6.3
Pros: The property was about a 25 minute walk from the city centre. It was a short 10 minute walk from the train station. There is parking available on site.

Pros: The staff at the guest house were charming! Both were welcoming, and very accommodating. To exemplify, I asked for some more UHT milk, and found a jug of fresh milk, with a freezer pack, on my bedside table. That was just a wonderfully kind gesture, and it was significantly appreciated! The breakfast was brilliant - toast, eggs, tomatoes, cereals, cold meats, cheese, croissants, pain au chocolat, fresh fruit, and yoghurt. I felt comfortable in my room - it was clean, tidy, and a decent size for a single room. The wifi was fast, and there were plenty of plug sockets for charging, a sink, and a travel kettle with tea, coffee, etc. The shared toilet / shower room was a little on the small side, but it was perfectly suitable / functional. The toilet / shower room and the guest rooms were all serviced daily.
Cons: Google maps took me to a different location, so I was wondering up and down the street, trying to find the guest house, for a while. The area seemed safe, but it was pretty pricey in terms of bars / restaurants.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Great location for the river and the town centre, comfy bed, nice breakfast and friendly staff.
Cons: N/A
Mediocre 2.9
Pros: Nothing to be honest
Cons: Room same size as wardrobe
Good 6.0
Pros: Free parking in front was very convenient. Walk to the center is about 15min.and the ability to leave the car on the checkout day is a plus when you still want to visit Cambridge. Friendly host and a nice welcome. Bed was good.
Cons: Room 2 was very small and the view on the roof, which could have a cleaning, was not really appealing. Bathroom was very small, when sitting on the toilet the sink is right in your face. Shower is about 2 by 2foot.Toilet seat should be exchanged as the varnish is cracked which is not hygienic. In short, the (bad) room needs a refurbishment. Breakfast is OK, but very basic. Toast, boiled eggs, some cheese, sausage, yoghurt, several cereals and some croissants and chocolate breads. None of the bread was fresh but came from a pack. I expected some scrambled eggs but since this was not offered, I assume this is not part of the deal. Although the parking is convenient and the host was friendly I would not stay here again unless I could not find anything better for the price.
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Charming B&B. Good breakfast. A bit further away from the city centre and the Railway station than I had expected, but still nice neighbourhood. The road outside is quiet. Both restaurants and grocery store nearby. Once again though, this place is not situated in the city centre really (it's a fifteen minute walk to the centre of the old town).
Good 7.0
Pros: This was value for money - a good continental breakfast and the location was a couple of miles from the city centre, as I expected.
Cons: Motorway noise.
Excellent 8.8
Pros: Good location for cambridge centre with a nice walk along riverside. Parking was a good bonus.
Good 7.9
Pros: Very friendly owners.
Cons: Furniture and facilities were quite old.
Good 7.9
Pros: Delicious breakfast
Excellent 9.6
Pros: Perfect position. Quiet clean, the beautiful neighborhood. Walking distance to the university area. Tasty toast and boiled eggs. Absolutely, we would like return and rebook this lodge.
Cons: Space of the bathroom a little bit too small.

Excellent 10.0
Pros: The room was very efficiently designed for comfort and convenience. There were plenty of power/usb points, the bedding comfortable, the shower great, everything very clean, and it was quiet at night.
Good 6.7
Pros: Evening food was excellent
Cons: Location was well out of town
Good 7.0
Pros: Decent location.
Cons: They don't have AC...They call it'air cooling'. They brought a fan and opened the window. Not good when the temperature was 90F outside.
Good 6.7
Pros: Neat and clean. Dining area is good and outside food allowed as well.
Cons: Bed is smaller than expected. Sofa com bed was broken .. it could bit be opened. Shower room was slippery.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very friendly helpful staff, seemed genuinely happy to help with any issues I had. Quite location easy to access. Over all pleased and would definitely use the hotel again if needed on the future.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Excellent room and breakfast.
Cons: A little bit far from city center.
Excellent 9.2
Pros: It was just what we needed for our stay. Great for parking.
Cons: It was a bit further out of town than we expected.
Good 7.0
Pros: Staff were great. Didn't have much breakfast but those I tried (croissants, brioche and cupcake) were not that fresh. Room was comfortable with USB chargers so no need to worry.
Cons: Too far away. If you use it for work in the city it can be hectic due to morning traffic. Also too expensive (130) for being in that location. Needs a bit of a refurbishment, as there were cracks at the bathroom tiles and stains on the bed.
Good 7.9
Pros: Liked the choice of pillows. The room was fine. A bit of a wait to check in as no-one was on reception. Breakfast was great and gluten free options were provided
Excellent 8.3
Pros: Very good for a short stay, possibly a little far out for longer visits to Cambridge. Beds very comfortable, staff nice, breakfast fine. A bonus though, is that because it's outside the city on a business/retail park, it was lovely quiet at night, always a plus for me, as I like my zzzzzzzs!
Cons: Nothing really
Good 7.5
Pros: Location; we were visiting friends one mile away. Easy parking. Clean and modern
Cons: The mattress is hard! And the pillows harder (although softer are offered). Breakfast; cold bacon, colder over cooked scrambled egg... inedible. The restaurant is open to the reception area, other guests left main doors open allowing very cold air into the whole of the ground floor.
Good 7.1
Pros: Lovely friendly staff. Nice gym next door.
Cons: The bin lorry outside our room at 6.30am

Excellent 10.0
Pros: Very good location with free parking staff very friendly very large comfy bed all round highly recommend
Good 7.1
Pros: The location was very good although a bit out of town if walking (20-25 min). I left my car in the pub car park and used public transport. It’s very close to the Cambridge Junction music venue, and the IMAX cinema. There are local convenience stores, coffee/patisserie, and restaurants. The Cambridge open topped sightseeing bus goes from the railway station less than 5 minutes away. There was a warm welcome from the landlord but the bar itself didn’t feel all that welcoming. Breakfast was good, and the bar food was generously portioned. The Guinness was great!
Cons: I had room 2 which overlooked the main road. This didn’t worry me too much as the room had good double glazing. It was noisy in the early morning as I had the windows open. There are other rooms in the annexe which would probably be quieter. The room itself was brighter and airy with a comfortable king size bed, TV, en-suite with a shower. The furniture and finish was a little bit tired.
Good 6.0
Pros: Comfortable and clean beds. Friendly staff
Cons: Room was directly above the pub. I specifically requested a quiet room and although I was told the pub would be empty by 1030/1045, the music was still blaring at gone midnight. The toad outside was incredibly noisy and busy, that along with customers outside smoking till late and then an early morning beer delivery meant little sleep.
Excellent 8.0
Pros: The location was spot on the food was nice room was good
Excellent 9.2
Pros: Good room, even though the Accomodation is attached to the pub, there is no noise from the Bar. Bar is fine with good selection of Ales, and food was good. Also an excellent Breakfast. For Cambridge, this was really good value - far nicer than a Travel lodge.
Good 7.9
Pros: The breakfast was good, apart from the Continental breakfast that had only three pieces of bread. Location is a bid away from the city centre but was very good for us.
Cons: It was very noisy in the early morning due to the delivery of the goods for the pub.
Okay 4.6
Pros: Room itself was clean and beds were nice and crisp and clean. I wasn't keen on bright orange walls. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Cons: Bathroom was grim, needs a refurb in there.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: Breakfast was brilliant, rooms were warm and comfy.
Excellent 10.0
Pros: The staff were efficient and polite. Overall, it was an excellent experience.
Cons: Nothing
Good 7.9
Pros: 2 minutes walk from the train station. Very friendly staff and despite my card being cancelled no problem to pay with cash. Comfortable and clean. Could watch my team play in Rugby World cup at breakfast.
Cons: A bit overpriced for a mid range pub, but the staff made up for it.
