The staff were lovely and very helpful
The room was extraordinarily small and cramped. I had to move the bed over in order to get into the bathroom. (Although a double, it would have been dreadful with 2 people staying.) It was very difficult to draw the curtains. The sink in the bathroom - taps were very awkward - the hot tap turning is the wrong way round. The sink hole cover is rustly and old. No room to fill kettle up in tiny sink. The shower was ok - but again quite dated and cramped. There was no plug to boil the kettle in the area where the tea and coffee facilities were placed. So I had to put the kettle on the floor and plug it into a socket near the floor - health and safety risk of tripping/knocking over a boiling kettle, as the room was so small.
The room although clean was very tiered and in need a updating The bed sheets didn’t fit the double bed and the toilet made such a loud noise that you were frightened to use it late at night because of disturbing rest of the guest in the hotel Breakfast was poor no tea bag so we had juice They just run out of everything by the time we went for breakfast and that was at 8.30 am.
Closeness to City Centre. Well decorated. Good customer service. Breakfast was good.
No stand up shower in family room. Needs a few minor repairs and attention.
Very central for Canterbury and just £6 for 24 hr parking from hotel.
Bit tired however staff were great and location very central.
The price and the proximity to the town centre, cathedral, museum etc.
