So, the location is very convenient and I love the fact that my dog stays free. I know I didn't pay a ton of money and didn't expect a super premium hotel, but I've stayed here before and so I thought I knew what I was getting. The key card system does not work very well. Pros (+) the price was reasonable and location was right off I-85
Cons (-) bathroom was banged up - stucco ceiling and walls falling apart shower barely worked beds are shot unidentifiable aroma in the main hallway I would not recommend bringing a family here

Pros (+) The staff was nice.
Cons (-) The smell was horrible. There was honestly no difference in the smoking and non smoking rooms because the building smelled horrendous. The rooms looked as if house keeping had cleaned the rooms but many of the fixtures were dirty. WE DID NOT EVEN USE THE BATHROOM. IT WAS HORRIBLE.

Pros (+) Pet friendly hotel that has a lot of value for the price. Location is right of of I-85 and gets you into Charlotte quickly.
Cons (-) Full trash bags (from all of room cleanings) were left in the stairwell between 1st and 2nd floor for both days we stayed. Not sure if they were ever taken out, but they made the entire hallway smell!
