PVD dropoff HERTZ was disinterested and didn't leave the booth. Perhaps afraid of catching COVID from customers? Prefer to have car checked by a liver person, to be sure NO damage, as you're holding $200 of my funds for just this reason. Don't hold the money if you cannot be bothered to look at the vehicle when it is returned. The staff was very friendly and one reason I would come back. However, she was overwhelmed with customers. She was one person handling at least three customers while i was there. She maintained a friendly disposition though. In the middle of an epidemic, you need to be flexible and patient. We tried calling multiple times and had to wait 30+ min for them to find our reservation, and had both the customer service rep and his manager argue with us rather than explain the price difference when dropping off the car in a different location.
