They had a car for me with short notice. The car I “reserved” wasn’t ready and they strongly encourage me to take another vehicle that wouldn’t have served my needs. I quickly learned the strong odor of marijuana was masked by a still present foam Smelling like oranges. When the orange odor wore off it was nearly intolerable. Both the trunk and passenger door raddled horribly and the car needs to be removed from the rental fleet. Very Disappointing!!

Pickup in Missoula was long and arduous, long line, only one staff at a time. Vehicle was brand new, no instructions on various features, we had to ask a customer in the lot how to get in and start it! Poor choice of assignment for elderly renters, too many 'whistles and bells', hard to climb into and out of. Drop+off at Belgrade/Gallatin was quick and easy.

The lady at the counter was pleasant and easy to work with but the vehicle they put me in was not cleaned and I requested another vehicle and it was the same thing. I don't put this on the counter people but the yard personel they have issues.

My car had trash and food under both front seats. I rented an “intermediate suv” but it was comparable to an average car with space, it wasn’t awd, and had challenging blind spots.

Car had soft tire. You could tell there had been previous problem because valve stem cap was missing. After refilling it with air twice, I had to take it to a tire shop in Stevensville and wait for them to fix it. They found a screw in the tire. When I returned the car I told the clerk that I should receive some kind of discount and she said I would have to talk to the manager. I was flying out so it’s my loss. AVIS NO MORE !!!!!
