Between Kayak and Enterprise, it needs to be more clear that renting an 8 seat or more vehicle needs a credit card. We were not even able to rent the vehicle because according to Enterprise, in order to rent an 8 seat suburban a credit card is needed. I was able to secure our rental online with debit card only no problems and it was stated to use the same card upon pick up as I did with booking. Unfortunately, this was not the case. If I can book with a debit card for an 8 seat or more than I should be able to pay with the same debit card, otherwise make it more clear when checking out or do not allow it. The first 4 numbers are different for a credit vs debit card so a computer can easily make the distinction upon online booking. This caused unnecessary frustration and unfortunately no vehicle rental from us as we do not own credit cards, we pay with cash or debit card. PLEASE, make this clear upon online booking or at the very least make it clear that a CREDIT card must be used when checking out a larger 8 seat vehicle; this was found only in the small print FAQ later.
