beds We’re comfortable . Full breakfast was good
Didn’t like to set up and asked for a higher floor so we could get view of city and didn’t happen. The air vents were right above one of the beds so had constant air blowing on you
There are several Chicago Hampton Inn Hotels in Chicago, the one I stayed with my sister this winter was the one located on 68 E Wacker Pl. First of all I loved the location! it couldn't be better! This hotel is in the very heart of the city. Even in the harsh winter we walked everywhere: the Chicago Theatre, the loop, the Chicago Art Institute, the Millennium Park, The Cloud's Gate, the Wrigley building, the Tribune building, the DuSable Bridge... all of them extremely close to the hotel. We walked to the Navy Pier, the Magnificent Mile, Willis Tower, Union Station, Grant Park and the Museum Campus because all of them are walking distance, but also there are subway stations of every line a few blocks away if one is not inclined to walk. The hotel was so strategically located that we were able to pass by and rest for a little while between visiting attractions. The room we stayed in was super comfortable, quite big, spotlessly clean, with a huge window and a pretty view. The beds were fantastic as is always the case in Hampton Inn hotels. The bathroom was spacious and also spotless. The shower was truly wonderful. Breakfast was fantastic. Great variety of choices, with some daily variations on the offer. Good coffee and tea, orange juice, several kinds of smoothies, dairy, cereal, fruits, pastries, bagels, toast, waffles, scrambled eggs or omelet, bacon or sausages, potatoes even! The building itself is a beautiful piece of architecture and the Art Deco lobby is absolutely stunning. The staff was very kind and friendly, they were always extraordinarily helpful. We found the check-in and the check-out quite smooth. I surely recommend to stay in this hotel.
Everything good - Nothing negative.
Small room and location sucks. Also, they don’t tell you about parking online. They state that it’s free when it’s not! It’s $69 per night. I didn’t appreciate being surprised when I got there.
Good location. Cheap.
The location was great and having breakfast every day was a big plus. We really enjoyed relaxing in the fantastic lobby with some hot tea after a long cold day.
One morning of our stay was significantly busier and it seemed like they had a hard time keeping the breakfast area stocked which was a little disappointing.
