I loved the people there. The front desk person, the bell hop, and even the cleaning lady were all nice. I only had an issue with the waitress from breakfast. I loved the view from our room. I loved that we got room service multiple times during the day. I loved the restaurants at the hotel (even though they were very high priced).
In the future, please tell your guests that the "breakfast is free but the service isn't" (direct quote from a waitress). We did not know so we did not tip the first day at breakfast. One of the waitress was upset the next day we went when she saw us thinking we wouldn't tip. This was my biggest issue with The Buccaneer. They should've let us know before we upset the waitress. And she should let us know because we're tourist and we don't know how exactly it works over there.
Breakfast was included with the room which is a nice feature. The staff couldn't have been nicer.
They were nice and upgraded our room for free. The beach and pools are picture perfect and we have a view of the sea.
The staff seemed to mean well but overall the service was half rate. Nothing ever seemed to work out as they said it would and there were small details in service that could use improvement
Everything. Most beautiful property we ever stayed at.
Food could be better. Breakfast was excellent.
The grounds were beautiful. The beaches were great although it was hard to enter at one beach. The breakfast was sensational. The restaurants were all good except the wait time for lunch was much too long. The convenience to town was great.
For two nights in a row we were woken up at 4 AM by an alarm clock and music from the room next-door. The hotel refused to enter this room to get the music turned down. I literally had to move to another room at 4 AM in the morning. Rather than take care of the issue the next day, the music went off again at 4 AM the next morning. This issue should have been taken care of after the first night. Our room was not cleaned in a timely manner. It was usually after 3 PM when the room got cleaned and then they came to turn down the bed at 5 PM. It always seemed like they came to turn down the bed when we were getting ready for dinner and they refused to come back later to prepare the room for the evening. Small point, but every day the flowers began to fall off and die on the table and they were not removed. By the last day our flowers were dead, I handed them to the Maids.
