Police presence daily removing ppl in handcuffs. Lots of ppl living there. Very run down. Bullet holes in stairs and outside walls. Strip club next door. Not family friendly at all

Terrible hotel, terrible location, terrible proble
Located right next to a strip club it didn't take but being there for not even five minutes walking to the room we saw a woman dash away from the hotel in tears. First off the desk chair had multiple white stains, the bathroom had no working fan, lightbulbs were missing from the bathroom sink area, and the smoke detector fell off the wall and didn't even have a battery in it. And the kicker? Bed bugs, saw one in the room (working in the ER at a big hospital in a big city, I have run across these guys on patients many a times), complained to management and was treated with hostility. When asked to speak with corporate, was laughed at by desk attendant. Would not recommend to anyone, ended up checking out early and going down to st pete. We stayed in room 219 and I really hope someone follows up on the bed bug situation so some other pour soul doesn't get bed bugs.

It was a nice hotel, the room was nice, very clean and spacious. Good deal.
I made a reservation online and it said check-in time was 1:00. I got to the hotel around 1:45 and the lady said come back around 2:30 because the room wasnt ready yet despite the fact i made a reservation a week in advance.
